By now most likely you have seen the video of the white Lamborghini Huracan performing donuts at a traffic signal in Bengaluru, right? Well, there has been a new discovery. It has been reported that the underworld don’s son’s Lamborghini seen in the video has a fake registration plate. Yes, a drifting Lamborghini which has a fake number. This case has become a lot more complex than it was anticipated.
It all started with a video which became viral online. On March 21 at around 2:40 AM, a white-colored Lamborghini Huracan with an aftermarket body kit and aftermarket white alloy wheels was seen performing multiple donuts at the Anil Kumble Circle, near MG Road, Bengaluru. It was noted that the vehicle was being driven recklessly around the junction, risking the lives of other people at the traffic signal.
Soon after this, when the video started spreading like wildfire, a few netizens tagged Bengaluru City Police, asking them to immediately take action against the driver. As a result of this, Cubbon Park Traffic Police took action and registered a suo motu FIR filed by constable Shanmukh. The charges applied were rash and negligent driving, endangering human life, and relevant provisions under the Indian Motor Vehicles Act.
What happened next was that, based on the assessment of the viral video and the CCTV camera footage, the Lamborghini was tracked down by the police and it was seized. It was then kept at the traffic police station premises, after which the police authorities started an investigation to find out the details of the driver and the occupants.
It was then found out that the vehicle was being driven by Ricky Rai, who is the son of late underworld don Muthappa Rai. A notice was then issued by the police to Ricky Rai to appear for questioning.
Following this process, Ricky Rai’s lawyer, Narayanaswamy, issued a public clarification. He stated that Ricky was not driving the car. He added that he was only present inside the vehicle and the driver was someone else. He went on to elaborate that the vehicle was out for service and was collected by a driver.
He later added that the vehicle skidded due to the newly paved road surface and, as the driver was “talented”, he regained control quickly after the skid. The lawyer added that there was no nuisance caused and the roads were completely empty at the time.
Now, after all of this, a new twist has come to the story. It has been reported that Ricky Rai appeared before Cubbon Park Traffic Police and he submitted the vehicle-related documents. The same documents were then verified by the Regional Transport Office (RTO), which gave a new update.
It highlighted that the white Lamborghini Huracan seen performing donuts has a fake registration number. The RTO has confirmed that the registration number “KA 05 NR 0009” does not exist in the state of Karnataka. And upon deeper investigation, it has been found that the original registration number of the Lamborghini is “DL 1 CT 1515”.

As for the name of the person linked with this registration number, it is Rabara Bhavanaben Vindokumar, a Gujarat-based individual. It is being suspected that Ricky Rai bought this Lamborghini and did not transfer the vehicle to Karnataka. Instead, he installed a fake fancy registration number plate to avoid traffic fines, paying transfer and re-registration fees, and law enforcement tracking.
Apart from this, the police authorities have also highlighted that Ricky Rai is also involved in fraud and deception and has been booked for investigation. Currently, the authorities are collecting CCTV footage and identifying other ownership trails and documents.
