In India, many young entrepreneurs have come forward over the last decade. We have seen more startups than ever before, and some of them have actually done well. One common trend among most young entrepreneurs is that they own expensive cars and like to live a lavish lifestyle. Cars have become an integral part of their lives, and this is not just limited to young businessmen but also to those who have been in business for decades. Here, we have a video of the former MD of India’s popular brand Britannia, Varun Berry, taking delivery of his brand-new BMW 7 Series.
The video has been shared by Melvin Preetham on his Instagram page. It looks like Melvin might be working with BMW in Karnataka and was part of this delivery. In the video, we see a flatbed truck entering a private property with a car.
The truck is parked inside the property and the bed is lowered. The truck was carrying a brand-new BMW 7 Series. The car is slowly brought down, and after this, the owner of the car, Varun Berry, is seen signing the documents. It looks like the car was revealed to the customer only after the documentation was complete.
We then see Mr Varun Berry and his family unveil their brand-new car in the driveway. The happiness on the face of the customer is very evident, and we also see the dealership staff welcoming the customer to the BMW family with a bouquet of flowers and hampers.
The key to their brand-new car is also handed over to the customer, and the video ends there. The BMW seen here in the video is the 7 Series, the 740i to be specific. The BMW 7 Series is often considered a status symbol, which is why many celebrities have this sedan in their garage. The car seen here is the current-generation sedan, which comes with a host of premium and luxury features.
The design of the current-generation 7 Series is something that many people are calling polarising. It now comes with a bigger kidney grille at the front with LED bars outlining it. The headlamp is a split unit. The car features flush-fitting door handles, all-LED lighting, 19-inch alloy wheels, and more.

Because Varun’s car is finished in a black shade, it does not look odd in the video. The 740i comes with a curved display consisting of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, along with a roof-mounted 31.3-inch 8K cinema screen. Other features include a 5.5-inch touchscreen unit on the rear doors, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery with electrical adjustments, ambient lighting, and more.
As this is the 740i M Sport variant, it is powered by a 3.0-litre, inline six-cylinder, turbocharged engine that generates 375 Bhp and 520 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a mild-hybrid system as well.
The car comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. It can accelerate from 0–100 kmph in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph. The price for a brand-new BMW 740i starts at Rs 1.79 crore, ex-showroom.
