Last week, we came across the sad news of the demise of Mr. CJ Roy, the chairman of Confident Group, which is a leading name in the real estate business in India and abroad. The chairman of the group reportedly committed suicide when Income Tax officials were conducting searches at his Bengaluru office. Like most wealthy businessmen, CJ Roy and his family led a lavish lifestyle and were settled in Dubai. They also owned a massive car collection. Here we have an old video where CJ Roy’s daughter is showing off one of the most expensive cars in their garage a Bugatti Veyron.
In the video that was shared by Ria Mary Roy, we see her walk towards one of the cars in their garage. She posted the video with a caption "Who Cares What You Wear When The Car Is The FIt". She walks towards the Bugatti Veyron and gets on to the driver seat of the hyper car. The Bugatti Veyron seen here is powered by a 8.0 litre W16 quad turbo engine that generates 1001 Bhp and 1250 Nm of torque. It was once the fastest production car in the world. CJ Roy is one of the few Indians who own this rare and extremely expensive hyper car.
Apart from this Instagram video, we also have another video that has been shared by Rohan Robert Malayalam on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger visits Mr. CJ Roy’s mansion in Dubai to take a look at the cars. CJ Roy is not seen in the video; however, his son Rohit Roy, popularly known as Don Cassanova, is seen giving a tour of their vehicles.
The vlogger arrives at the mansion, where the cars are parked in a well-lit indoor parking area within the house. The tour begins with the Rolls-Royce Phantoms parked in the garage. You would also notice that most of the cars in this garage are finished in a blue shade, which is probably his favourite colour.
The first car is a Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII. The current-generation Phantom is customised and even gets a privacy screen for the rear cabin. He also mentions that Mr. Roy had recently bought another Phantom of the same generation in India.
After the current-generation Phantom, we see an older-generation model parked next to it. All these are luxury cars. Next to the Phantoms is another expensive and rare car—a Lamborghini Aventador with a Mansory kit. Don Cassanova can be heard saying in the video that the entire body of the car is finished in carbon fibre, and it has been customised to his liking with blue panels. It is also one of the loudest cars in his collection.
He also owns a blue-and-silver-finished Rolls-Royce Spectre, which is the British luxury car brand’s first EV. The video also shows two Bentley Continental Flying Spur sedans, which the businessman does not use much. He mentions that the paint job on one of the Bentleys is actually unique, featuring a white marble-like finish. From a distance, it looks dirty, but as you get closer, you realise it is a deliberate pattern.
Further in the video, we see a Ferrari F12 supercar. This car is also finished in a blue shade and has been customised with performance upgrades, including Stage 2 tuning. It also has an extremely loud exhaust note.
Next to the Ferrari, we see a very unique and rare car. While several Indians own Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Rolls-Royces, and Bentleys, only a few have a Bugatti Veyron. The parking area at CJ Roy’s mansion is designed in such a way that these cars are visible from the living space. The Bugatti is customised in a blue-and-chrome shade and is actually a 2013 model.
The last car seen in the video is a Lamborghini Huracan with a body kit, but it is otherwise a stock vehicle with no performance modifications.
The vehicles seen in the video do not include all the cars owned by the businessman; however, they are definitely some of the most expensive ones in the garage.
