The craze for expensive cars in India has gone up over the last couple of decades. Finding Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi cars on Indian roads has become a common sight. Many young entrepreneurs have started spending on luxury cars, and many of them are not opting for the usual brands anymore. Cars from brands like Rolls-Royce and Bentley are selling in India more than ever before. Here we have a video where a family is seen taking delivery of what appears to be Madhya Pradesh’s first Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II.
The video has been shared by AG7 Cars Official on their Instagram page. It shows the delivery of Madhya Pradesh’s first Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV. The car has been bought by the Singh family, although the exact details of the owner are not mentioned in the post.
The family arrives at the dealership, and shortly after, the car is unveiled to them. Once the car is revealed, the family poses for pictures and celebrates the occasion. They cut a cake and also perform the usual religious pooja at the dealership. We do see cars like Lamborghini, Ferrari, G63 AMG in the video but, we are not sure if all these cars belong to the family or not.
The colour of the Cullinan seen in the video is extremely unique. Usually, buyers opt for white, silver, or black shades, as they tend to look premium. However, in this case, the owner has chosen a deep emerald green shade. The colour looks elegant and gives the SUV a very premium appearance.
The owner has opted for a Mandarin-coloured interior for the SUV. The same colour coachline can also be seen on the exterior. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the British luxury car brand’s first-ever SUV, and it became an instant hit among wealthy and influential buyers around the globe.
Even in India, it has become one of the fastest-selling Rolls-Royce models. The car seen here is the Series II, or the updated Cullinan. Rolls-Royce has made minor cosmetic changes, such as a revised front bumper, revamped interiors, and updated technology, to give it a fresher look compared to the older model. Apart from these updates, everything else about the car remains largely the same.
Like all Rolls-Royce cars, the Cullinan also comes with a wide range of customisation options. Depending on the level of customisation, the price of the SUV increases significantly. We assume that the owner has opted for several customisations, which makes it difficult to determine the exact on-road cost of this particular vehicle.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is powered by a 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 engine paired with an automatic transmission, with power sent to all four wheels. The SUV produces 571 PS and 850 Nm of peak torque. The price of a standard Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II starts at ₹10.50 crore (ex-showroom), and customisations can push the price even higher.
As mentioned earlier, Rolls-Royce cars have gained immense popularity among wealthy buyers in a short span of time, and the Ambani family is the biggest example of this trend. The Ambanis reportedly like the Cullinan so much that they have over 10 Cullinan SUVs in their garage. Apart from them, many celebrities and wealthy businesspeople in India also own Cullinan SUVs.
