Mahindra recently launched the all-new XUV 7XO, also known as the XUV700 facelift, in the market. Bookings for the XUV 7XO have already begun, and we have come across several reports highlighting the long waiting period for this SUV. The prices of the Mahindra XUV 7XO have been announced, and deliveries have also started. Here, we have a couple of videos featuring owners who were lucky enough to receive their XUV 7XO on time. In these videos, they share their opinions after buying and using the SUV for some time.
The first video has been shared by RNK Autos, while the second one was posted by Jay Choudhary on their respective YouTube channels. In the first video, the owner of the XUV 7XO is an interior designer who runs his own business. He took delivery of the SUV a couple of weeks ago and has already clocked around 1,500 km. He purchased the AX7T diesel automatic variant.
The owner starts by saying that he bought the XUV 7XO because he was already familiar with what the SUV had to offer. He had considered the Scorpio-N and Thar Roxx, but after driving the XUV 7XO, he realised that the ride quality and suspension had improved significantly compared to the older XUV700. According to him, the SUV feels much more comfortable and offers better value for money. He also noted that the handling of the XUV 7XO is better than the other vehicles he had shortlisted.
He has driven the car to multiple locations so far and has not faced any major issues. He mentions that seat ventilation is one feature he really enjoys, along with the overall interior quality and fit and finish. The only complaints he currently has are regarding fuel efficiency and the engine noise that filters into the cabin when the accelerator is pushed hard. Apart from these points, he is largely satisfied with the XUV 7XO.
In the second video, the customer has bought the AX7T diesel manual variant of the XUV 7XO. The owner already had an XUV500, and this was one of the main reasons he upgraded to the XUV700 or XUV 7XO without much hesitation.
He is happy with the overall performance and features of the SUV. The owner mentions that he chose the car because of its premium design and feature list. However, he does point out that ADAS is something he is not particularly fond of at the moment. He also has complaints about the interior colour theme, stating that the light-coloured cabin is difficult to maintain. According to him, a darker interior theme would have been a better option.
That said, the SUV is delivering decent fuel efficiency in city conditions, and he is satisfied with the overall features, fit, and finish. In short, both owners seem happy with the Mahindra XUV 7XO. The most common concerns highlighted are interior colour choice and fuel efficiency, both of which can be addressed to some extent through aftermarket customisation and mindful driving habits.
