This Indian Actress Owns The Most Expensive Cars: Rolls Royce To Lamborghinis And Ferraris
Almost all of us know that Bollywood actors love splurging on fast and luxurious cars and SUVs. Many have multi-crore car collections as well. However, it is often male actors that we see owning expensive garages. It is unusual to find actresses own expensive sports and luxury car collection. Indian actress Mallika Sherawat is an exception. She now lives in Los Angeles, California, USA and is said to own several expensive (and fast) cars. She is quite active on social media and often shares glimpses of her moments with these machines with her followers. Here are some expensive cars we have seen her with, over the years:
This could probably be the most iconic car in Sherawat’s garage. Long back, she had shared several images of her with this iconic V12 sportscar. The SV (Superveloce) is considered one of the boldest and loudest Aventadors ever made. It was powered by the legendary 6.5-litre V12 petrol engine capable of producing 730hp and 690Nm. Mated to it was a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission, and the supercar had All Wheel Drive system as well.
This car was able to accelerate from zero to 100 kph in just 2.8 seconds. 200 kph came in just 8.6 seconds. It had a top speed of 350 kph. It also had an electromechanical Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) system that ensured excellent road manners. The standard push-rod suspension came with magneto-rheological dampers for improved agility.
The SV was available in both coupe and convertible (roadster) forms. The final unit rolled off the production line in mid-2017. The Aventador SV was priced at Rs 3 crores in global markets. In India, however, it had a whopping price of 8 crores, ex-showroom, due to the heavy taxes imposed on it. The actress, however, owned it abroad. And now, the exclusivity factor. She owned one of the 350 ever made!
Another member of her garage is the Ferrari 812 Superfast. This V12 supercar was in production from 2017 to 2024. It was, in fact, the successor to the F12 Berlinetta. The 812 Superfast launched in India in March 2018, and had an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.2 crores here.
Back then, it had the most powerful naturally aspirated (NA) production car engine- the 6.5-litre NA V12 was capable of producing 800hp and 718 Nm! This car was capable of doing the 0-100 kph sprint in just 2.9 seconds, and had a top speed of 340kph.
It was also the first Ferrari to use an electric power steering (EPS). It was part of the 812 Superfast’s electronic vehicle dynamic control package. It also came with rear wheel steering, progressive traction control (called ‘F1-Trac’), third-generation e-differential and SSC (Side Slip Control).
Going by the images she shared with her followers, Mallika also owned a McLaren 720S, finished in the iconic Orange colour. Pictures and videos of her flaunting the car's twin-hinged dihedral doors are available online.
Revealed at Geneva in 2017, the 720S is the successor to the 650S. Its styling encompasses all of the company’s signature cues. The two-seater is based on an all carbonfibre tub, and is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 720hp at 7,000rpm and 770Nm at 5,500rpm. Paired to it is a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
The 720S offers three driving modes- Comfort, Sport and Track. It can go from 0-100kph in just 2.8seconds and has a top speed of 341kph. It also features McLaren’s all-independent system- double wishbones at both front and rear. Advanced electronics further improve performance.
In another instance she shared a picture of her with a Rolls Royce Dawn. The Dawn is the ultra-luxury carmaker's convertible that was in production from 2015 to 2023. Its 6.6L Twin-Turbo V12 was capable of producing 556 bhp and 820 Nm.
Other than the ones mentioned above, we have also seen Mallika with cars like the Ferrari 458 Italia and a Lamborghini Huracan. It is unclear if she used to own these as well. What we do know is that this Indian actress has a thing for speed!
