Tata Motors has just recently commenced the deliveries of the new Sierra mid-size SUV, and people have already started modifying it. Recently, a video has gone viral on the internet in which a brand-new Tata Sierra has been seen with Land Rover Defender-inspired modifications. The main highlight of this particular Sierra is the massive 22-inch alloy wheels.
The video showing the Tata Sierra modified with aftermarket alloy wheels and other parts has been shared on Instagram by Sikand Cars on their page. In this short video, we can note that a Pure Grey-colored Sierra has been given a set of beautiful-looking 22-inch alloy wheels finished in polished silver color. Additionally, the brake calipers of this SUV have also been painted red.

Next up, this particular Sierra has been given the Roq kit, which is priced at Rs 41,000. This kit adds a front grille add-on, which has a bigger Sierra insignia. It also offers tailgate cladding, window line cladding, and special decals as well. This kit is offered by the company and is fitted at the dealership.
As for the other modifications, this Sierra has also been given a Land Rover Defender-style auxiliary box on the right side. This box is one of the most popular accessories across popular SUVs, and a lot of Mahindra Thar ROXX owners also add it to their cars. Lastly, this vehicle has also been given a foldable ladder on the left side as well. A figurine of “The Joker” has also been added on the integrated roof spoiler of this SUV.

This is one of the first modified Tata Sierras currently in the market. However, most likely, in the coming months, we will be seeing a lot more. So far, the company is offering its own Roq+ kit, which is priced at Rs 55,000, and interested Sierra buyers can get it fitted at the dealership. This kit includes the same foldable ladder; however, it gets bolted onto the metal roof rack.

The company-provided Roq+ kit offers these parts, which cannot be bought individually. Apart from these, it also gets side steps as well. It also has to be noted that the Roq+ kit can only be installed on the Adventure variants and variants above it, as it requires company-fitted roof rails.

Tata Motors launched the Sierra back in November of last year, and this month, the deliveries of this SUV have commenced. It starts with a price tag of Rs 11.49 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 21.29 lakh. It is being offered in seven main variants. These include Smart+, Pure, Pure Plus, Adventure, Adventure Plus, Accomplished, and Accomplished Plus.
Bookings of the Tata Sierra commenced on January 16, and in just the first 24 hours, the company received over 70,000 bookings. Additionally, it was highlighted that an additional 1.35 lakh customers were in the process of submitting their preferred configurations as they progressed to complete the booking formalities.

In terms of highlights, the Tata Sierra comes offered with connected LED DRLs, LED headlights, connected LED taillights, 19-inch alloy wheels, flush-type door handles, a triple-screen layout, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos, ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and many others. It is being offered with three engines—1.5-litre NA, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and lastly, a 1.5-litre diesel.
