India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, who is the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, is a very religious man. He is often seen visiting temples across the country. Most recently, he visited the Guruvayur Shri Krishna Temple in Kerala. Now, like everywhere around the world, Mukesh Ambani was again seen in a security convoy involving a number of SUVs and cars. He himself was in his older-generation Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard bulletproof sedan.
The video showing Mukesh Ambani arriving at the Guruvayur temple in his convoy has been shared on Instagram by Kaleshlatha on their channel. In this short clip, we can note that Mukesh Ambani’s previous-generation bulletproof Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard was driving at the front of the convoy.

Following it, there were a number of Toyota Fortuners, a Mercedes-Benz GLS, and Toyota Innova Crystas. In the clip, a number of his security personnel quickly surrounded him after he exited the vehicle. And when he came back from the temple, there were a lot of people who greeted him before he sat back in his S600 Guard luxury sedan.

As mentioned, the car Mukesh Ambani arrived in at the Guruvayur temple in Kerala is his previous-generation Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard. This particular bulletproof sedan was bought back in 2015, and it has the VIP registration number “333.” Currently, this particular S600 Guard is not the primary vehicle of Mukesh Ambani, but it remains part of the Reliance fleet and is used when the family members travel outside of Mumbai.

This particular S600 was then replaced by another S600 Guard, also finished in the same silver color. The second S600 Guard was bought in 2020 and had the VIP registration number “999.” It has since been replaced by the latest-generation Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard, which is based on the latest W223, priced at Rs 15 crore.
What is even more interesting is that the Ambani family, in total, owns four Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard sedans. One of them is finished in the shade of gold and has the VIP registration number “999.” Then there is a black one, which has the number “333.” The third is a white-colored S680 Guard with the number “0999,” and lastly, there is a silver-colored S680 Guard as well.

In terms of protection, the S680 Guard comes with VPAM VR10 certification, which is currently the highest level of ballistic certification for civilian vehicles. This certification ensures that the vehicle is not only bulletproof but also resistant to explosive charges.
It also comes equipped with bullet- and blast-proof glass featuring multi-layer construction and a polycarbonate layer for splinter protection. The glass on this sedan measures, on average, from 3.5 to 4 inches. Powering this sedan is a V12 engine generating 612 hp and a staggering 830 Nm of torque, and it gets all-wheel drive as well.

Mukesh Ambani recently also became the owner of India’s most expensive private jet. He recently took delivery of his Boeing BBJ 737 Max worth Rs 1,000 crore. In addition to this particular jet, the Reliance Industries fleet includes 10 other private jets and a number of helicopters as well.
