Tata launched the all-new Sierra SUV in the market last year, and the official deliveries for the same have also started. Like the Safari and Sierra, Tata fans are actually expecting that the brand brings back more iconic nameplates. One such name is the Hexa. The 7-seater SUV was on sale for a very short span of time, but it had a huge fan base. Here we have a render image that shows how a new-generation Hexa might look if it were to be launched in the market now.
The images have been shared by SRK Designs, and it is actually a digital render of the Hexa. The artist is calling this the Sierra Hexa because it is based on the recently launched Sierra. Tata, during an interview with us, had confirmed that they have plans to expand the Sierra brand in the future, and it won’t be wrong to say that we can expect a 7-seater Sierra in the future.
The Sierra Hexa seen here in the images gets a redesigned front end. It is inspired by the Sierra but gets elements that differentiate it from the 5-seater SUV. The front grille is finished in gloss black with Sierra lettering on it. We also see a connecting LED bar that runs across the width of the vehicle.
The DRL design is different from the Sierra. In the Hexa render, it almost gets a T-like formation. The headlamps are designed in such a manner that they look like an extension of the nose or front grille. The headlamp design is different as well. Instead of the sleek LED unit seen in the Sierra, the Sierra Hexa render gets a triple LED setup that is stacked vertically.

The front bumper design looks similar to what we have seen in the Sierra, and there is a sleek LED DRL integrated into the bumper. The faux skid plate and gloss black elements give a premium touch to the front.
The side profile of the Sierra Hexa is also shown in the post. It looks like a stretched-out version of the Sierra. If you look at the picture carefully, you will notice that the artist used a Range Rover–inspired rear to give the render a clean look. In the pictures, it looks like the wheelbase of the Sierra Hexa has increased. The alloy wheel designs are the same as the original Hexa.
As we move to the rear, we realise that the Sierra Hexa gets an all-new design here. There is a chunky-looking clear-lens LED tail lamp with sleek LED elements and a connecting LED bar. The tail lamp almost looks inspired by the Lincoln Navigator.
We see Sierra branding on the tailgate. The rear design is different from the Sierra, and the bumper gets twin-tip exhausts as well. The integrated roof spoiler and the shark fin antenna are also visible in the picture.
We do not have interior pictures of this SUV, but we assume that it is going to look as futuristic as any modern-day Tata car. The engine options are also expected to remain the same as the Sierra.
There will be a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which will be offered with manual and automatic transmission options. The diesel version might get the bigger 2.0-litre diesel engine that we have seen in the Harrier and Safari, as the Sierra Hexa is a 7-seater SUV and the 1.5-litre diesel might be underpowered.
It should be noted that this is a digitally rendered image, and the car seen here is purely the imagination of the artist. If Tata launches a Sierra Hexa 7-seater SUV in the market, it might be different from the render seen here.
