In India, most of the popular Indian cricket team players are seen driving around in expensive luxury cars. However, when they are on international tours, they sometimes have to take Ubers and other local cabs. Recently, a video has gone viral on the internet in which the former captain of the Indian cricket team was seen taking a ride in a cab, and the stunned reaction of the driver has also gone viral on the internet.
The video showing Rohit Sharma in a cab in Australia has been shared on Instagram. In this short clip, we can see that Rohit Sharma was sitting in the front passenger seat of a cab. Apart from him, there were three more passengers on the rear seat of this cab as well. We can note that the Sikh cab driver was stunned after realising that Rohit Sharma was beside him.

In the clip, Sharma can be seen having a short conversation with the Indian cab driver. After a while, when they reach their destination, Sharma can be seen shaking hands with the cab driver and unbuckling his seatbelt. This particular video has gone viral on the internet, as cricketers are rarely seen in cabs. Rather, they are usually seen on private buses arranged by the BCCI.
Apart from the video in which Rohit Sharma was seen in a cab in Australia, another video has gone viral on the internet in which the young and extremely promising Indian cricketers Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, and Prasidh Krishna were also seen taking a cab. It has been reported that this video was taken while they were heading to the stadium in Adelaide.
Rohit Sharma has become the first Indian cricketer to buy a brand-new Tesla Model Y. He recently took delivery of his electric SUV, finished in the shade of Stealth Grey. As for the registration number, he has chosen “MH 01 FB 3015,” which is a nod to his kids’ birthdays — his daughter Samaira was born on December 30th and his son Ahaan on November 15th, thus 3015.

The Tesla Model Y in India starts at Rs 59.89 lakh. It is being offered with two powertrain options — rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Rohit Sharma has opted for the base RWD variant, which gets a single electric motor that makes 299 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque. As for the battery pack, it comes with a 60.5 kWh unit offering a claimed range of 500 km on a single full charge.
Apart from the Tesla, he also recently bought his second Lamborghini Urus, and this time around, he has opted for the hybrid SE variant of the Urus, priced at Rs 4.57 crore (ex-showroom). In terms of the colour choice, Rohit’s newest Urus is finished in the bright shade of Arancio Argos.
He has also chosen the 23-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels painted in gloss black, whereas in his previous Urus, they were finished in silver. On the inside, the cricketer has opted for black and matching Arancio leather interiors with brushed silver elements all around.

What makes the Urus SE special is the new hybrid powertrain. This time around, along with the 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, it also gets an 800 CV hybrid system. The internal combustion engine of this SUV alone makes 632 PS of power and 800 Nm of torque.
On the other hand, the electric motor delivers an additional 192 PS of power and 483 Nm of torque. The combined output delivered by this system peaks at 800 PS of power and 950 Nm of torque, which makes this SUV super quick. The Urus SE can touch the 100 km/h mark in just 3.4 seconds and the 200 km/h mark in just 11.2 seconds.
Apart from the Lamborghini Urus SE, Rohit Sharma also owns a Range Rover Autobiography, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and a few other luxury cars.
