Today, most Bollywood actors and actresses are seen being driven around in their ultra-luxury sedans and SUVs. However, back in the 1990s, many celebrities loved driving their own cars. One of these stars was Shahrukh Khan. Recently, a video has resurfaced online in which the young and dashing actor was seen driving off from a film shoot in his beloved Mitsubishi Pajero SUV.
The old clip of Shahrukh Khan driving his Mitsubishi Pajero has been shared on YouTube by Wild Films India on their channel. It was originally shot back in the 1990s. However, it was uploaded online six years ago. In this video, Shahrukh Khan can be seen casually chatting with the director and other crew members on the film set, following which he starts to leave the set to go back home.
It can be noted that while he was going towards his car, a young girl, along with many other fans, swarmed the actor for an autograph. He then continued walking towards his Mitsubishi Pajero, and after sitting inside it, he was asked a question by a journalist to describe someone. Being the quick-witted person he is, he quickly spoke a number of praise words. He then shook hands with a few more crew members before driving off in his SUV.

Back in the 1990s, the Mitsubishi Pajero SFX was one of the most sought-after SUVs in the market. It was the dream of many men, and popular celebrities like Shahrukh Khan and several business tycoons owned it. Shahrukh Khan's Pajero was finished in a bright shade of red on top, and its lower half was silver, which was this SUV’s iconic color scheme.
It can be seen in the video that Shahrukh Khan's Pajero was also equipped with a massive front bullbar, which again was a very popular accessory seen on many SUVs from the era. The clip also shows that SRK’s SUV was fitted with aftermarket silver alloy wheels, which further enhanced its appearance.

The Japanese automaker Mitsubishi launched the Pajero in India back in the late 1990s. It was initially imported into India via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. As a result of this, it was considered by many a luxury SUV. It was priced at Rs 33.5 lakh, which at the time was a huge sum of money to spend on a car. SRK was one of the few elites who had the privilege of importing this SUV into the country.
Later, when the Mitsubishi Pajero became a very popular name in the country, Hindustan Motors decided to assemble it in India, which helped reduce its price. The domestically assembled Mitsubishi Pajero was then sold at a price tag of Rs 19.5 lakh, which was half the cost of the CBU model. At the time, it rivaled the Hyundai Terracan and the Mercedes-Benz M-Class, which was priced Rs 20 lakh higher.

Today, Shahrukh Khan is not seen driving his cars. Speaking of his cars, he currently gets chauffeured around in a Rs 10 crore Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge. This luxury SUV is finished in the classy shade of Arctic White. On the inside, it gets an all-white leather interior with Cobalto Blue accents.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge comes powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, generating 600 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. All four wheels receive power from an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Apart from this SUV, Shahrukh Khan is also sometimes seen in his latest-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class, more specifically the S350d 4MATIC variant.
