Skoda launched the facelifted Kushaq in India on March 21, 2026. It is priced from Rs 10.69 lakh, ex-showroom and comes in five main trims- Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo. The facelift has already started reaching owners. What looks like the first customer delivery video of it has now surfaced online and shows a family receiving their brand-new Kushaq.
The clip opens by showing the person who bought the car, a young man, watching the new Kushaq’s product video and ‘manifesting’. We then see him uncover the vehicle together with his wife and son. The updated Kushaq is available in 8 colours, out of which this customer has chosen ‘Deep Black’.

The couple then cuts a cake and celebrates the occasion. The man and his wife are then seen performing aarti on the SUV and seeking blessings for happy and safe journeys. In the final few moments, we see the man holding both keys of the SUV in his hand, with gratitude and satisfaction. At this point, text on the screen reads ‘Story of every man who was once a kid and told himself ‘Jab job lagegi toh khud le lunga’’.
From the description, it is also clear that the Kushaq is his first car. The video has had over 48,000 views in three days. Netizens continue to congratulate the customer for his ‘dream car purchase’.

The facelift has made the Kushaq’s styling sharper and more upmarket. The front fascia has been completely reworked. It now gets a larger grille with a light-band running through, connecting LED DRLs on either side. The LED lighting package has been updated and now features sequential turn indicators.
The side profile largely resembles that of the pre-facelift model. Lower variants ride on 16-inch alloy wheels, while higher trims get 17-inch units. The rear now gets connected LED tail lamps, illuminated Skoda lettering and a reworked bumper.

The overall length has increased by 4mm. Width, height, and wheelbase remain same as before. Boot space has improved on the new model- 491 litres- over a 100 litres more than the previous version’s 385 litres.
The cabin on the facelift feels much more sophisticated than before. The overall layout has been kept the same, although the trims and upholstery have been updated. The interior now looks noticeably plusher and more premium.

Equipment levels have also been improved. The new Kushaq comes with a panoramic sunroof, a massaging function for the rear seats, 10.25-inch virtual cockpit, 10.1-inch infotainment unit, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated and powered front seats, dual-colour ambient lighting, front parking sensors, cooled glovebox, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming IRVM, Google Automotive AI integration, and a wireless charger. The air conditioning system has also been improved on the facelift.
The safety suite is quite comprehensive on the new model, even though it continues to miss out on an ADAS suite. Higher variants come with 40 active and passive safety features. 25 of these are standard across variants. These include multiple airbags, electronic stability control, and several other driver aids.

The facelift carries forward the same two engine options, although with a noticeable revision in the transmission pool. The 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI produce 113hp and 178Nm and 148 hp and 250 Nm respectively.
Previously, the smaller engine used to offer the choice of a manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. On the new model, the latter has been replaced with a new 8-speed automatic unit. The bigger engine, which also comes with cylinder deactivation technology, is now only available with a 7-speed DSG automatic box. Underpinning the facelift is the same MQB A0 IN platform as before.
