Bollywood Actress Sophie Choudry Adds BMW X5 Worth Rs 1.2 Crore To Her Garage
The BMW X5 is one of the most popular SUVs from the German luxury carmaker in India, and a lot of Bollywood celebrities own it. Now, most recently, the British singer and actress Sophie Choudry, who gained her fame from MTV India by being a VJ, has now added a brand-new BMW X5 to her garage. She was recently seen taking delivery of her new luxury SUV worth Rs 1.2 crore.
The images of the delivery of Sophie Choudry’s BMW X5 have been shared on Facebook. They come courtesy of BMW Infinity Cars. In these images, the actress was seen at the BMW dealership, where a special delivery experience was hosted for the actress. It can be noted that a portrait of Sophie Choudry with her BMW X5 was placed next to her car on an easel.
Just before the official handover of the car keys to the actress, she was seen signing final paperwork for her luxury SUV. Additionally, the dealership arranged a cake for her, which she cut with her mother sitting next to her. She also brought her dog to the dealership, who was seen accompanying her during the delivery. She then posed with the SUV and was handed over a bouquet as well.
As mentioned, the luxury SUV chosen by the actress is a BMW X5. This SUV starts at Rs 94.87 lakh and goes all the way to Rs 1.07 crore (ex-showroom). Currently, the exact variant bought by the actress is unknown. BMW offers the current-generation X5 with a petrol and diesel engine option.
The petrol engine is a 3.0-litre, in-line 6 turbo engine, which is capable of producing 375 bhp and 520 Nm of torque. As for the diesel option, it is a 3.0-litre, in-line four-cylinder engine, which makes 282 bhp but an impressive 650 Nm of torque. Both engines come mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic and offer the BMW xDrive AWD system.
In addition to Sophie Choudry, recently the “Dupahiya” fame actor and writer Avinash Dwivedi surprised his wife and actress Sambhavna Seth with a brand-new BMW X5. Her SUV is finished in the classy shade of Mineral White Metallic.
Also, the famous Bollywood actor and producer Arbaaz Khan gifted his and Malaika Arora’s son Arhaan Khan a BMW X5. This particular SUV is finished in the gloss Black Sapphire Metallic color. However, Arhaan Khan has got his SUV wrapped in either matte black color, or a matte paint protection film has been added, which gives it a unique appearance.
In other Bollywood celebrities and BMW news, recently the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, or “Big B,” was seen behind the steering wheel of his BMW i7 electric sedan. The actor was seen visiting his “Sholay” movie co-star and legendary actor Dharmendra’s home after he was discharged from the hospital after being on a ventilator.
The BMW i7 seen being driven by Amitabh Bachchan was bought back in October of last year. As for the color choice, unlike other celebrities who go with boring blacks and whites, he has opted for dual-tone shades of Adventure Red Metallic and Oxide Grey.
