A video of Sunny Deol has now been circulating online where he is seen driving his Defender during Border 2 shoot without wearing a seat belt.
The video has been shared by Sunny Deol on his Instagram page. In this video we see Sunny Deol driving his Land Rover Defender. He is probably driving to or back from the set of Border 2 as he is wearing an Army officer uniform.
He is driving his Defender and he is probably enjoying music while he drives it. He probably posted it as a fun video but the viewers caught something that the actor didn’t. The viewers realised that the actor was driving the car on a public road and he was not wearing his seat belt.
He was driving through a narrow road probably close to the driving location but, he was clearly on a road and he was not following the rules. The comment section under this video has remarks like, “Seat belt please (500 fine)?”, “seat belt safety ke liye hota hai fine ke liye nahi aur fauji bhi insaan hi hai” and so on.
The actor isn’t driving the car fast but that is not an excuse for him to not wear the seat belt. If you check the comment section of the video you will find that there are many people who like the actor for his roles like these. Many fans are eagerly looking up to him and if they see their favourite hero or actor doing mistakes like these, the chances of them getting influenced are pretty high.
The car he is seen driving in the video is probably the Land Rover Defender Octa. We get a glimpse of the bonnet of the car and that looks like the Octa only. This is the most powerful version of the Defender on sale in India. The Defender Octa is priced at around Rs 2.8 crore (ex-showroom).
When compared to the regular Defender, the Octa Edition One gets new front and rear bumpers, a larger grille, wider side wheel arches, new 20-inch alloy wheels, and a quad exhaust setup. The Defender Octa Edition One comes powered by a massive 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which also gets mild-hybrid assist.
As mentioned above, this is the most powerful version of the Defender on sale in India, and it generates 626 bhp and 750 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.
Apart from the two Defenders, Sunny Deol also owns cars like the Range Rover Autobiography LWB, Volkswagen Tiguan, Porsche 911 GT3 Touring, and more. He has mentioned in a media interview that he is a big Porsche fan.
Border 2 is not a direct sequel but rather a film set during the same war, featuring new stories and battles. The film will highlight the bravery and heroism of the Indian Armed Forces during the conflict.
