Road Rage On Camera: North Indian Family Experiences Scary Situation Near Bangalore (Video)

Road rage incidents in India have gone up in the last five years. People have started sharing videos of such incidents on the internet, and we have seen cops take action against the culprits using video evidence. One city that is infamous for its road rage incidents is Bengaluru. Here we have one such video, where a North Indian family was actually attacked by a group of men on scooters.

The video has been shared by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel. It was probably sent to him by one of his followers who faced this situation. The video was recorded on the car’s dashcam, and we see the family driving through a two-lane highway. The car was being driven within the speed limits.

Coming to the video, we see the car overtaking a couple of two-wheeler riders on the same road. The car driver didn’t notice anything unusual and continued driving. After driving for almost a kilometer, he saw that the two-wheeler riders whom he had overtaken earlier were following him and had come close to the vehicle.

They were saying something and asking the driver to pull over. There were not many vehicles on this road, and the driver somehow convinced himself to stop the car. As the SUV stopped, four men on scooters and bikes jumped in front of the vehicle, started arguing with the driver, and tried to open the car door forcefully.

The owner and his family got scared and thought it was some sort of robbery attempt in broad daylight. The driver sped away, leaving the riders behind. However, the car was caught in a traffic snarl, and the riders caught up with him. They started slamming on the car doors, and we can hear the female occupants in the car screaming. The driver panicked and started rushing.

He began honking aggressively and got the truck in front of him to move away. The car driver then sped up, joined the highway, and left the bikers behind. They were still under the impression that the bikers were trying to rob them, but we feel this was actually a case of road rage. When the driver overtook the bikers the first time, the car might have cut too close to them, which could have made the bikers angry.

The car driver might have been at fault, but it was not the right way to respond. Road rage incidents are becoming very common in many of our cities, and we also know that such situations can be avoided by remaining calm and patient.

If you ever come across such a situation, the best thing to do is call the cops and stay inside your car. If you react or respond, things can escalate quickly, and the argument may turn into a physical fight. Sadly, in this case, the driver did try to call the cops, but the number was not getting connected, or they didn’t receive any response. We hope concerned authorities come across this video and take necessary action against the culprits.
