A lot of people on roads today are guilty of driving while being extremely distracted. Now, a lot of times nothing happens; however, there are times when things become serious very quickly. Recently, a video has gone viral online that shows how a Tata Punch went flying on the road after hitting a Hyundai Creta because the owner of the vehicle was distracted.
The video showing the Tata Punch flying off in the air has been shared on YouTube by Prateek Singh on their channel. As per the creator, this video was shot from the dashcam of a car that was on a highway in Bangalore, Karnataka. We can note that just in front of the car with the dashcam is a Hyundai Creta and a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

Following this, two motorcycle riders overtake the dashcam car, and one of them goes through the right side of the Ertiga and the other one from the left side. During this time, we can note that a grey-colored Tata Punch overtakes the dashcam car at a much higher speed than the rest of the cars on the road. Soon after this, what happens is that the Tata Punch crashes into the rear left portion of the Hyundai Creta.
As per the creator, the Tata Punch in this video was driving at an approximate speed of 80 kmph, because of which the car had an extremely strong impact on the Creta. The result of this crash was that the Tata Punch flew off and made a complete flip in the air, after which it landed on the left side of the road with damage to the front end and the A-pillars.
Thankfully, the Punch did not hit the bike rider on the left. It can be seen in the clip that had the bike rider been just a couple of feet behind, he would have been hit by the flipped-over Punch. However, the rider was safe in this scenario. As for the Creta, its rear left side was heavily damaged, and it can be noted that the airbags of the Tata Punch were deployed.

As highlighted by the creator of the video, the Tata Punch was being driven at an approximate speed of 80 kmph on a road where the traffic was moving extremely slowly. Now, the only reason why this happened was because the driver was distracted. It can be seen that the brake lights of the Punch did not turn on until the very end before the crash.
This clearly means that the driver of the Punch was extremely distracted. Most likely, the driver was either using their phone, or they might have been doing something else that kept them distracted from the road.

Just like drinking and driving, distracted driving is also a very dangerous thing, and drivers should actively make sure that they are paying their complete attention on the road. This is because, on Indian roads, anything in front of any vehicle can brake while driving ahead. There are also other risks that can only be avoided if the driver is paying complete attention on the road.
