Tata Sierra NA Petrol Owner: Adequate Performance Even At Highway Speeds [Video]
A lot of people who read about the specifications of the Tata Sierra 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol think that it might feel very underpowered in real-world situations. However, recently a video has been shared online in which a Tata Sierra owner explains why this is not true. In the video, he also gives his honest opinions and feedback on this popular mid-size SUV.
The ownership review video of the Tata Sierra petrol has been shared on YouTube by RNK Autos on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger introducing the owner of this particular Tata Sierra. After the introduction, he starts by questioning the purchase decision and why he did not opt for any other SUV such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and others.
To this, the owner replies that he bought the Tata Sierra Pure Plus 1.5 NA variant. He added that while making his decision to buy a new car, he checked out a few other cars, but when the Sierra was launched and started arriving at the dealership, he went to look at it once. The owner then states that the display unit he saw managed to impress his family.
As a result, he opted to buy this SUV and paid Rs 17.60 lakh on-road. Next, he added that, according to him and his family, the Sierra is a lot more spacious, feature-loaded, and looks more modern. The main highlights of the Sierra, as per the owner, are its boot space and the large panoramic sunroof. He added that both these seem compromised in other SUVs.
Following this, the vlogger then asks about the engine option chosen, to which the owner replies that he has chosen the 1.5-litre Revotron naturally aspirated petrol engine, which makes 105 bhp and 145 Nm of torque, paired with a manual gearbox. After this, the vlogger asks about the performance of this engine.
The owner elaborates that he has driven this vehicle on city roads, highways, and also in the mountains, and has not felt that the engine is underpowered. He added that the high-speed stability of this SUV on the highway is also good, and even at 130+ kmph, he did not feel any instability.
Soon after this, the vlogger asks about the mileage offered by this SUV, to which the owner states that in the city it offers a mileage of around 10 to 12 kmpl, and on the highways, it is around 13 kmpl. He added that he has no problem with the mileage, and it is around his expectations.
Next up, he talks about the features and the interior design of the Sierra. He explains that the Pure Plus variant comes with the necessary features. These include the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with four speakers and two tweeters, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and many others.
He also highlights that the seating comfort and air conditioning of the Sierra are very impressive, and on longer trips, it does not make him and his family feel tired. As for the rear seat comfort, it is also adequate, and four people can sit without any issues. Lastly, the boot space of the Sierra, as per the owner, is good enough to carry four large trolley bags and other smaller luggage items.
