India is full of idiots, and once again, another video has become viral online, which has proved this exact statement. In the latest viral video, a group of young boys were seen stopping the Vande Bharat train. These idiots, just to make a vlog, stopped the high-speed train using wooden logs and cement pillars. This particular video has garnered a lot of attention and criticism from people online, highlighting that this is extremely reckless behaviour.
The video showing these young men stopping the Vande Bharat train has been shared on X by Sumit Raj on their page. In this short clip, we can note that a number of these boys were standing on the railway track and were placing a heavy wooden log on it. It can be seen that they had to use sticks and a lot of manpower to place this log.
Soon after, this video then shows another part of the same group of boys lifting a cement pillar. They were also using rods and other things to lift it up. Finally, it can be seen that these boys were able to stop the Vande Bharat train. One of these boys, while recording the video, shouts that they have stopped the Vande Bharat. Meanwhile, another boy pointed towards the train and said “attack” as a joke.

They then stood in front of the Vande Bharat and boasted that it was the real one. What happened next is that the police constable opens the door of the cabin and starts shouting at the kids. He initially thought they were trying to enter the train and asked these boys, “Why are you entering the train?” To which the cameraman replies that they were not entering the train; “we are just shooting a video.”

This particular video has gained a lot of criticism online because of the reckless behaviour of these young boys. People have highlighted that these people have jeopardized the lives of all the passengers in the Vande Bharat train, all for their selfish reason of creating a viral vlog.
Currently, it has not been reported if the authorities have been able to take any direct action against these boys. However, it has been mentioned that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has stepped up monitoring of social media platforms. It has also begun identifying miscreants involved in such stunts. Authorities have highlighted that passenger safety is non-negotiable; also, they have started cracking down on this “reel culture.”

Over the last few years, ever since the social media boom, people have been doing a lot of stupid things online just for views. Stunting on public roads, damaging public property, harassing and pranking other people has become extremely common. All of these things are being done to gain followers, likes, shares, and comments to become famous overnight.
As a result of this, a lot of people have called for stricter action against such miscreants. They have suggested heavy fines and arrests of such people. Now, whether this will result in people refraining from such actions or not is unclear.
