Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, over the last few years in India, have seen a lot of growth because of their strategic alliance. Both companies have launched several models in India, and they have helped them in increasing a lot of their market share. Now, both of these companies, using their shared platforms, are gearing up for the launch of 11 new cars in India. So, without any delay, here are the details of these 11 upcoming cars from Maruti Suzuki and Toyota.

The first upcoming shared model on this list is the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella EV. This electric SUV is based on the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, and both of these vehicles use the new Heartect-e platform, which has been co-developed by Suzuki, Toyota, and Daihatsu. Toyota is expected to launch this EV in the coming few months, and bookings have already commenced. Pricing of the Ebella is expected to start from around Rs 16 lakh and go up to Rs 20 lakh.
In terms of design, the Ebella will get a completely different front fascia when compared to the eVitara. It will feature new LED headlamps with eyebrow-style DRLs, a revised bumper, a new grille section, and 18-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels. At the rear, it will also get a redesigned LED light bar.
On the inside, the features list will remain almost identical to the eVitara. It will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster, a JBL sound system, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS features.
Powertrain options of the Toyota Ebella will include 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery packs. The larger battery version will produce 174 bhp and offer a claimed range of 543 km. Meanwhile, the smaller battery version will produce 144 bhp and offer a claimed range of 440 km.

The Fronx is currently one of the best-selling Maruti Suzuki vehicles in India. However, the company is now preparing to make it even more fuel-efficient with a brand-new series hybrid powertrain. Most likely, this SUV will be launched around the festive season of 2026, and its pricing will be in the range of Rs 10 to 15 lakh.
The biggest highlight of the new Fronx will be its series hybrid system. Unlike the traditional strong hybrids, where both the engine and electric motor power the wheels, in this setup, the 1.2-litre Z12E petrol engine will only work as a generator. The wheels will be powered entirely by the electric motor. Reports have highlighted that this setup could offer around 35 kmpl mileage. It is also expected to get Level 2 ADAS.

Toyota will also launch its own version of the Fronx Series Hybrid in the form of the Urban Cruiser Taisor Series Hybrid. This model is expected to arrive by early 2027 and will share the same platform and hybrid setup as the Fronx.
It will use the same 1.2-litre Z12E petrol engine-based series hybrid technology and offer a similar mileage figure of around 35 kmpl. Toyota's version will boast slight cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the Fronx, as seen on the current model.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki does not have a proper 7-seater SUV in its lineup. However, the company has started working on the development of the Grand Vitara-based 7-seater SUV, which has been internally codenamed the Y17. This SUV is expected to launch around the Diwali festive season or by the end of 2026. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 18 to 25 lakh.
The Grand Vitara-based 7-seater SUV will boast a longer wheelbase and stretched rear overhang. This will help in accommodating the third row. It is also expected to get a more upright rear profile for better headroom in the third row. In terms of the features, it will include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, and a digital instrument cluster.
It is also expected to get a heads-up display, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and a full suite of Level 2 ADAS features. Six airbags are also expected to be standard. Powertrain options will most likely remain the same as the Grand Vitara. This means a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, along with a strong hybrid setup, will be on offer.

Toyota is also developing a 7-seater version of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Its camouflaged test mule has already been spotted testing, which means that it will also be launched soon. This SUV will share almost everything with the Grand Vitara 7-seater except for the exterior design. It is expected to get the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine options. At the moment, its launch timeline has not been officially confirmed; however, it could be launched by the end of this year or by early 2027.

The current-generation Grand Vitara has been out for a while now, and it has seen some updates but not a major facelift. So, as a result, Maruti Suzuki is planning to give it a facelift, and it is expected to make its debut around the festive season of this year. Design changes will include a redesigned grille, revised bumpers, updated LED lighting signatures, and new 17-inch alloy wheels.
Meanwhile, on the inside, Maruti Suzuki will offer a new 10.25-inch infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, and Level 2 ADAS features, including adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking. Powertrains will remain the same and will include the 1.5-litre mild hybrid petrol, strong hybrid, and CNG options.

Toyota will follow Maruti Suzuki and launch the facelifted iteration of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder in India. This will be a much-needed facelift, as the company has not changed the Urban Cruiser Hyryder since its launch in 2022. The facelifted model will get revised bumpers, a redesigned grille, and new alloy wheels. On the inside, it is expected to get ventilated seats, a new cabin theme, and, most importantly, Level 2 ADAS features, which are not offered in the current model.

Toyota is expected to launch the facelifted Innova Hycross in India by late 2026. It will not be a major update. The upcoming MPV is expected to get minor cosmetic changes, updated interiors, and a larger infotainment system. The biggest highlight will be that Toyota is planning to introduce more affordable hybrid variants of the Hycross, as it will be discontinuing the Innova Crysta next year in March.

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto, which is the rebadged Toyota Innova Hycross, will also be getting a facelift. This model is expected to make its debut by next year. Pricing of this updated MPV will start at around Rs 25 lakh and go up to Rs 36 lakh.
This updated MPV is expected to get a revised grille, larger 19-inch alloy wheels, new bumpers, and additional colour options. Maruti Suzuki is also expected to finally offer premium features like a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a JBL sound system, ottoman seats, ventilated front and rear seats, and wireless charging.

Maruti Suzuki is also working on a brand-new electric MPV internally codenamed YMC. This vehicle will be based on the Heartect-e skateboard platform, and it is expected to launch around September 2026. The YMC will measure around 4.5 metres in length and will offer a spacious cabin with a flat floor like the e Vitara.
Its list of features will include a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, powered and ventilated seats, and a large touchscreen infotainment system. Battery options will most likely be borrowed from the e Vitara, including 49 kWh and 61 kWh packs. Pricing will be around Rs 18 to 25 lakh.

Last on this list is Toyota's version of the YMC MPV from Maruti Suzuki. It is expected to make its debut by late 2027. This MPV will share the same Heartect-e platform, battery packs, and electric powertrains with the Maruti Suzuki YMC. The only major difference will be in the design on the outside.
