Almost everyone knows that Maruti Suzuki is the largest carmaker in India, and it has been in the top spot for decades now. Well, despite this, the company is constantly working to make sure that it does not fall off, and for this, it is working on the development of multiple new vehicles. Today, we are presenting you with the list of 5 upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars in India.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been one of the best-selling sub-compact SUVs in the country for a while now, and it is now due for a major update. As a result, the company is already working on the development of the facelifted iteration of the Brezza. Over the last few months, multiple heavily camouflaged test mules of this updated SUV have already been spotted testing on public roads.
In terms of the design, the new Brezza facelift is expected to feature revised front and rear bumpers, updated LED headlights and taillights, a redesigned grille, and new alloy wheels. It is also expected to get even more updates on the inside. Maruti Suzuki is expected to offer the Brezza facelift with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system instead of the current 9-inch unit.
It is also expected to get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument cluster, and ventilated front seats. Powering the updated Brezza will be the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, along with the factory-fitted CNG option. However, reports have also suggested that Maruti Suzuki could add the new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine to the lineup. The company is also expected to offer an underbody-mounted CNG tank for improving boot space practicality. Most likely, the Brezza facelift will be launched in the next few months.

Currently, the Fronx is one of the best-selling vehicles in India and in the Maruti Suzuki lineup. The company is now gearing up to launch the first major update of this popular model. Recently, heavily camouflaged test mules of the Fronx facelift were spotted testing in India, and they have revealed interesting details.
In terms of styling, the Fronx facelift will continue to offer its coupe-SUV body style. However, it is expected to get revised bumpers, a redesigned grille, updated LED headlamps, new LED tail lamps, and fresh alloy wheel designs. The cabin will also get a number of upgrades. Maruti Suzuki is expected to offer a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, and better interior materials.
Now, coming to the main highlight of the upcoming Fronx facelift, it will be its brand-new hybrid powertrain. Unlike traditional strong hybrid systems, this new series hybrid setup will use the petrol engine only as a generator to charge the battery pack. The wheels will be powered completely by an electric motor.
The 1.2-litre Z12E petrol engine seen on the Swift and Dzire will be used in this setup. Reports have also highlighted that with this hybrid setup, the Fronx could offer an impressive mileage figure of around 35 kmpl. Apart from this, the Fronx facelift is also expected to get Level 2 ADAS features. Most likely, it will be launched around the festive season this year.

Maruti Suzuki launched the second-generation Baleno back in 2022, and it is now due for a mid-cycle update. Recently, a camouflaged test mule of the upcoming Baleno facelift was spotted testing for the first time in India. From the spy shots, it has been noted that the hatchback will get a redesigned front fascia with a sleeker grille and a slim chrome strip connecting the headlights.
The updated model is also expected to receive a revised front bumper and a slightly updated rear bumper as well. This test mule was spotted with the same 16-inch alloy wheels from the current Zeta trim. However, the new model will most likely get a set of new wheels.
On the inside, the dashboard layout will remain almost identical to the current model. However, Maruti Suzuki is expected to offer a new cabin theme and better materials to make the Baleno feel more premium. Its list of features will include automatic climate control, a head-up display, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The company could also offer the new Baleno with features such as ambient lighting and a single-pane sunroof like its rivals, the Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz. Powering the Baleno facelift will continue to be the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which makes 90 bhp and 113 Nm. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The CNG version will also be offered.

Maruti Suzuki is also preparing to expand its EV lineup in India. After the launch of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, the company is now gearing up for the launch of its new electric MPV, which is currently codenamed YMC. Recently, this electric MPV was once again spotted testing in the country.
From the spy images and videos, it has been noted that the YMC gets e Vitara-like alloy wheels and a clean front-end design without a traditional radiator grille. It will also get air vents on the bumper for battery cooling. The YMC electric MPV is expected to measure around 4.5 metres in length and will be based on the same Heartect-e skateboard platform as the eVitara.
Maruti Suzuki is reportedly targeting “couch-like comfort” for this MPV. As for features, we can expect Maruti Suzuki to offer a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, powered seats, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The YMC is expected to offer the same 49 kWh and 61.1 kWh battery pack options seen in the e Vitara.
The larger battery pack currently offers a claimed range of 543 km on the eVitara. Once launched, the YMC electric MPV will rival the Kia Carens Clavis EV, BYD eMAX7, and the recently launched VinFast VF MPV 7. Most likely, it will make its debut in late 2026.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki does not have a proper flagship 7-seater SUV in India. However, it is now working on the 7-seater version of its already popular Grand Vitara. This upcoming model has been given the codename Y17. This upcoming SUV will rival the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus.
Test mules of this SUV have already been spotted testing on Indian roads. The new model is expected to feature a longer wheelbase and stretched rear overhang to accommodate the third row of seats. It is also expected to get a more upright rear profile for improving headroom in the third row.
The list of features is expected to be the same as the current Grand Vitara. It will most likely offer a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, TPMS, heads-up display, and a full suite of Level 2 ADAS features. Six airbags are also expected to be offered as standard.
Powertrain options will most likely include the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and the strong hybrid setup from the Grand Vitara. Reports have suggested that this SUV could be launched around the Diwali festive season or by the end of 2026. Pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs 18 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.
