The Japanese automotive giant Toyota will soon be updating its lineup of SUVs in India. This will help the company increase its sales, which are already soaring in the country. So, if you are also someone who loves Toyota and wants to know which new SUVs are coming from the company, then you have come to the right spot. Here are the details of the 5 upcoming SUVs from Toyota Kirloskar India.

The first SUV on this list is technically a pickup truck, and we are talking about the new generation of the Hilux. Recently, a fully undisguised new-generation Hilux pickup truck was spotted in Karnataka, finished in the Sunglow Yellow color during the official TVC shoot. This time around, the Hilux will be getting a completely new exterior and interior design.
On the outside, it will be getting new sleeker LED headlights with C-shaped LED DRLs, a new body-colored honeycomb-pattern grille, a new front bumper, and an overall more aggressive fascia. As for the sides and rear, it will be getting new alloy wheels, new LED taillights, a new rear bumper, and chunkier side claddings. The main highlight will be its interior.
The new Hilux will be getting a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, and an overall more feature-loaded cabin. The powertrain option of the 2.8-litre diesel will remain the same. Most likely, it will be launched in the coming months and will be priced in the range of Rs 29 to 37 lakh.

Just like the upcoming Hilux, the Toyota Fortuner, which is currently one of the most popular full-size ladder-frame SUVs in the country, will be getting a generation change. This time around, it will look very similar to the Hilux from the front. It will boast a very similar front fascia and will look a lot more modern, sharp, and aggressive.
On the inside as well, it will be changed entirely and will come offered with all the modern creature-comfort features which the current model misses out on. It is expected to get a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, ADAS Level 2, and many others. The powertrain options of the 2.8-litre diesel and 2.7-litre petrol will remain the same.

Toyota and Maruti Suzuki are currently working on the development of a new series-hybrid powertrain, which will be offered with the new Fronx and its badge-engineered cousin, the Urban Cruiser Taisor. This new series hybrid, unlike the standard strong-hybrid powertrains currently offered in India, will use the 1.2-litre Z12E three-cylinder petrol engine as a generator to charge the battery pack of the vehicle.
In this setup, the wheels will be powered by electric motors throughout the entire driving session, and the engine will only help in recharging the battery to extend the range of the vehicle. This is called a range-extender powertrain, and it will most likely be seen on the Urban Cruiser Taisor before the end of this year or by early 2027. It is expected to offer a mind-blowing mileage of 35+ kmpl. Apart from these, the Taisor facelift is expected to get cosmetic upgrades, ADAS Level 2, and many other features.

The current-generation Urban Cruiser Hyryder was launched by Toyota back in 2022 in India. Since then, the company has only given it a few minor updates. However, it is now due for a major upgrade. So, most likely by the festive season of this year or by the end of 2026, Toyota will be giving the Urban Cruiser Hyryder a major facelift.
It is expected to get newly designed front and rear bumpers, new LED headlights and DRLs, and taillights, along with a set of new alloy wheels. It could also get more features on the inside, including ADAS Level 2, ventilated front seats, and many others. The powertrain options of the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre strong-hybrid petrol are expected to remain the same.

Last on this list is the 7-seater version of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. In the last few months, a few different test mules of the 7-seater Hyryder have been spotted testing across the country. It has been noted that this SUV will boast a slightly longer wheelbase and rear overhang to accommodate the third row of seats.
This SUV will share almost everything with the Grand Vitara 7-seater except for the exterior design. It is expected to get the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine options. At the moment, its launch timeline has not been officially confirmed; however, it could be launched by the end of this year or by early 2027.
