The SUV segment in India is growing, and over the years, both Indian and foreign brands have launched several models in our market. The demand for SUVs across multiple segments is increasing, and here we have a list of five new SUVs that are expected to be launched in the market in the coming weeks.

The first car on this list is Toyota’s electric SUV, the eBella, which is essentially a rebadged version of the eVitara from Maruti Suzuki. The eBella has been unveiled and is based on the same HEARTECT-e platform. It will be offered with a 49 kWh battery pack, producing 144 PS and 189 Nm of torque, with a range of 440 km.
The 61 kWh battery pack version will generate 174 PS and 189 Nm of torque, with a range of 543 km. It will offer the same set of features as the eVitara, including a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a fixed panoramic glass roof, and a 10-speaker JBL audio system.

MG unveiled its all-new flagship SUV in February this year. The official prices for this D+ segment SUV have not been announced yet. It is a massive SUV and comes with a host of premium features like leather upholstery, electric seats with a massage function, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, a touchscreen infotainment system, multi-zone climate control, and more. It is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that generates 215 bhp and 480 Nm of torque.

Volkswagen has been testing the Taigun facelift for quite some time now. Now that the Kushaq has been officially launched in the market, Volkswagen is expected to launch the Taigun facelift soon. The SUV will come with revised headlamps, grille, tail lamps, a panoramic sunroof, new alloy wheels, and more.
It will be offered with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. This engine will be available with a manual and a new 8-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre TSI engine generates 150 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque and will be offered with a 7-speed DSG.

After Renault, Nissan will launch its version of the Duster in the Indian market. It will be called the Tekton, and the same has been spotted testing on several occasions. The SUV will get a design inspired by the Nissan Patrol and will be powered by the same 1.0-litre turbo, 1.3-litre turbo, and 1.8-litre hybrid petrol engine options. The Nissan Tekton is expected to be unveiled or launched in the coming weeks.

The last SUV on this list is also an EV. The electric version of the Tata Sierra has been spotted testing, and it looks almost production-ready. Tata has confirmed that the SUV will be launched sometime between April and June this year. The Sierra EV will come with 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options, along with both AWD and RWD configurations.
