
The SUV segment has gained so much popularity over the years that almost every brand has shifted its focus from sedans and hatchbacks to SUVs and crossovers. So far, we have seen the launch of SUVs like the Renault Duster, updated Harrier and Safari, Sierra, and Mahindra XUV 7XO. The list doesn’t end here. In the coming months, the list is only going to get longer. Here we have a list of five such new SUVs that are launching in the next two months.
Tata will be unveiling the Sierra EV in India soon. The official launch of the Sierra EV is expected to happen in July this year. The SUV has been spotted testing multiple times and now looks production-ready. It is the electric version of the Sierra, which is expected to be based on a born-electric platform. It will feature an exterior design inspired by the ICE version but with minor cosmetic changes.

The electric SUV is expected to be offered with 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options. The bigger battery variant is expected to come with a dual-motor setup or AWD. The power and torque figures of the Sierra EV have not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be at par with the Harrier EV.
Honda recently launched the City facelift in the market. Along with the City, the company also unveiled its upcoming flagship SUV, the ZR-V Hybrid. The SUV showcased was the updated version that was launched recently. The SUV comes with a premium exterior design and an all-black cabin.

As this is the flagship SUV, it will be offered with features like a large 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, multi-zone climate control, ventilated seats, LED headlights with adaptive high beam, active cornering lights, dusk-sensing and rain-sensing wipers, power-folding exterior mirrors, hill descent control, an electric parking brake with auto hold, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a hands-free power tailgate with walk-away closing, an 8-way power driver’s seat, a 4-way power passenger seat, 11 airbags, Honda Sensing (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, a lane-change monitor, a panoramic sunroof, and more.
It is a hybrid SUV that uses a 2.0-litre direct-injection sports hybrid engine that generates 184 PS and 315 Nm of torque. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.80 kmpl. The launch of the ZR-V is expected to happen in July.
The Nissan Tekton is a mid-size SUV that the brand has been working on for some time. The official launch of the Tekton is scheduled to happen in July. The SUV is actually Nissan’s version of the Renault Duster. The SUV will be officially launched in July, and we already have an idea of what it will offer in terms of design and features.

The Tekton is based on the same platform as the Duster. However, the exterior design of the SUV will be inspired by the Nissan Patrol. The SUV will offer the same set of features as the Duster, such as automatic climate control, ventilated seats, electric seats, a digital driver display, a driver-centric touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, leatherette upholstery, and so on. It will be offered with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine option. The smaller engine would come with a manual transmission, while the bigger engine would come with manual and DCT gearbox options.

We recently came across images of the next-generation Toyota Hilux in India. It was probably brought to India for a TVC shoot. This also means the official launch of the SUV is around the corner. Toyota might launch the Hilux around July or August this year.
The Hilux is a popular choice among off-road enthusiasts around the world. The upcoming pickup truck is based on the updated IMV platform, and it will share the same platform with the new Fortuner while continuing to use the robust 2.8-litre diesel engine. Toyota is also working on an all-electric version.
Kia’s not-so-popular SUV, the Syros, will soon get an electric version. The South Korean brand has been working on this EV for quite some time, and it has been spotted testing multiple times as well. It looks almost production-ready, and the launch is expected to happen by August this year. The exterior design of the Syros EV is expected to be inspired by the regular ICE version.

However, we will see minor changes in the form of a revised front bumper, grille, tail lamps, and alloy wheels. The SUV is expected to be offered with premium features and a spacious cabin, just like the ICE version.
It is expected to be offered with 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery pack options. These are likely to deliver a claimed range of around 300–400 km.
Citroen also teased us with an image of the upcoming eC3X electric hatchback. It will continue to be the entry level electric offering from Citroen in India. The 2026 update is expected to come with minor cosmetic updates like LED fog lights, LED DRLs, and a projector headlamp setup, It will also get the X treatment that all other Citroen SUVs received.

Citroen might also offer keyless entry, push-button start, an optional 360-degree camera and many other features with the electric hatchback. The eC3X is expected to use the same 29.2kWh battery pack with a single electric motor that returns a claimed range of 320km. It will continue to generate 56 Bhp and 143 Nm of torque. The launch is expected to happen soon.
