We are halfway through the calendar year 2026. In the coming months, a strong product push is expected from Mahindra. Both all-new products and updates to existing ones are known to be in the pipeline. Mahindra will continue to have a strong focus on modernisation of its portfolio and further market expansion. Here is a detailed look at the three Mahindra launches expected this year.

The Scorpio has been a long-standing nameplate for Mahindra. The Scorpio-N redefined what the moniker stood for, when it debuted in 2022. It was more premium and better-kitted than all previous Scorpio versions and even had better road manners, improved performance and a more balanced suspension setup.
Mahindra is now working on a facelift to the Scorpio-N. Expected to arrive in August this year, this update will bring cosmetic upgrades and feature additions to the SUV. Previous spy sightings have indicated that the facelift will get redesigned LED headlamps, a larger grille section, updated DRLs, restyled bumpers, and new fog lamps. It could also get larger 19-inch alloy wheels. Lower trims could move up to 18-inch units. The current SUV rides on 18-inch and 17-inch wheels.
This update is aimed at closing the technology gap that the outgoing Scorpio-N has developed with its rivals, over the years. The segment itself has become increasingly tech-driven. Inside, the facelifted Scorpio-N will feature a redesigned dashboard and more upmarket trims.

It is likely to see the addition of features like a large panoramic sunroof, a bigger 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system (likely sourced from the Thar ROXX), a digital driver’s display, an electronic parking brake, and ventilated seats. Even the outgoing Scorpio-N comes well-equipped. The facelift will take things a notch higher.
Another expected update is the democratisation of ADAS features. Now, these are offered only on the top trims. On the facelift, ADAS will likely be offered more widely across the range, making the technology accessible to a wider set of buyers.
The facelift will remain mechanically unchanged. It will continue to offer the two familiar engine options- 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine and 2.0L turbocharged petrol (mStallion). These will be offered with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Mahindra is also working on an update to the Scorpio Classic, a model that enjoys high acceptance in rural and suburban India. Also expected to arrive in August, the Scorpio Classic facelift will have notable changes in its design and packaging. The new Scorpio Classic will retain the model’s rugged build and will continue to be based on the old-school platform.
Although details remain sparse, spy sightings suggest that the facelift will get a new grille, updated bumpers and tweaked lighting. Inside, it is expected to get a larger touchscreen infotainment system, better upholstery, more charging ports and better-organized storage spaces. Even the updated model will be powered by the same 2.2L turbocharged diesel engine, mated to a manual transmission.

Mahindra is expected to launch the production form of the Vision S SUV in late 2026 or early 2027. The vehicle will make its first public appearance towards the end of this year. The Vision S will have a unique exterior styling. Spy sightings have confirmed that it will have a wide track and chunky body cladding.

The Vision S will be underpinned by the company’s newly-developed NU_IQ platform. This is a multi-energy platform. The vehicle is expected to come with petrol and diesel engine options, although the details of the same remain under the wraps. It will even get an all-electric version in the future. The production-spec Vision S is also expected to get a modern, technology-packed cabin.
