Maruti Suzuki has remained the market leader in the Indian automotive industry for the last 40 years, and it seems like it will not give up its throne anytime soon. In the coming months and years, Maruti Suzuki is planning to introduce 10 new vehicles, which will make sure that its sales never slow down. So without any delay, here are the details of all the upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars in India.

In just a few months, Maruti Suzuki will be launching the updated iteration of its popular sub-compact SUV, the Brezza, in India. In terms of the changes, it is expected to get minor styling tweaks rather than a full redesign. These may include an updated front grille design, revised bumpers, updated LED headlamp and DRL signatures, and a new alloy wheel design.
It could also get updated dashboard trims and upholstery, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital instrument cluster. It will most likely retain the same 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine and CNG option. However, the CNG model could get an underbody CNG tank.

Next up in the lineup is the first series hybrid vehicle in the country, the Fronx series hybrid. This vehicle's main highlight will be its 1.2-litre Z12E three-cylinder petrol engine, which will be used as a generator that will charge the battery pack. The wheels will be powered by electric motors, which will draw power from the battery pack.
It is expected that the Fronx with the series hybrid powertrain will offer a mileage of 35 kmpl, which will be very impressive and the highest in the country for any affordable four-wheeler. The new Fronx is also expected to get some changes on the outside as well as the inside. There are reports that it could get Level 2 ADAS and a 360-degree camera, along with many other features. Launch is expected around May to June of this year.

Although the Grand Vitara received a minor update a little while ago, it has become due for a major facelift. This facelift is also needed as, after the launch of the Victoris, the sales have slightly slowed down. The new Grand Vitara facelift is expected to get a revised grille design, updated LED lighting signatures, new alloy wheel designs, new dashboard trims, a larger infotainment display, and overall improved cabin materials. It is expected to make its debut in the second half of 2026.

As the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Baleno are essentially the same vehicle with different skins, the Baleno will also become the second model in the Maruti Suzuki lineup to get the series hybrid powertrain. Apart from the powertrain change, the new Baleno is expected to get completely new styling and a bunch of premium features inside the cabin, along with a ton of advanced safety features such as Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and others.

Apart from the Z12E-powered series hybrid powertrain, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx is also expected to get a new model named the Fronx Flex Fuel. It will become the first vehicle in India to become compatible with E85 ethanol-blended fuel. The sensors in this vehicle will detect the ethanol percentage in the fuel, and the engine will automatically adjust fuel injection, ignition timing, and combustion. The main benefits of it will be lower emissions, reduced petrol dependency, and support for India’s ethanol blending program.

Maruti Suzuki recently took the covers off its first electric vehicle, the e Vitara electric SUV, in India. Now the company is aiming to launch its second EV in India, which has been internally codenamed YMC. It will be an MPV based on the same HEARTECT-e skateboard EV platform as the e Vitara, and it is expected to offer 40 kWh and 60 kWh battery pack options. Once launched later this year, it will take on the BYD eMax7 and the Kia Carens Clavis EV in India.

Expected to launch by the end of 2026 or early 2027, Maruti Suzuki is currently developing the next generation of the Ertiga MPV, which is one of its best-selling vehicles. This MPV is expected to get a new front design, updated LED headlamps, revised tail lamps, and a set of new bumpers and alloy wheels. On the inside, the vehicle is expected to get a completely updated dashboard, a larger infotainment system, better materials, and more premium features. Powertrain options of the 1.5-litre petrol engine and CNG will most likely remain the same.
To take on the Tata Punch and the Hyundai Exter, Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch a new micro-SUV called the Y43 micro-SUV. It is expected to make its debut in 2027 and use the HEARTECT platform, and it will be around 3.8 meters. Power will come from the Z12E three-cylinder petrol engine, and there could also be a CNG option as well. Features may include LED headlights, a digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment, a reverse camera, wireless charging, and possibly a sunroof as well.

Internally codenamed YDB, Maruti is also expected to launch a sub-4 metre MPV to rival the Renault Triber and the newly launched Nissan Gravity MPV. This vehicle will be based on the Suzuki Spacia, which is on sale in Japan. It is expected to get a tall-boy silhouette and a boxy shape for maximum space. Length-wise, it will be around 3.9 meters.

In order to make electric mobility more accessible, Maruti Suzuki is working on the launch of the eWX-based affordable electric hatchback for the Indian market. It is expected to utilise the new K-EV electric platform and offer a range of around 250–260 km. The exact battery pack details have not been revealed. It is expected to make its debut in 2027.
