The craze for SUVs in India will not be stopping anytime soon, and knowing this, Maruti Suzuki is now planning to introduce a number of new SUVs in India. Some of them will be facelifts of the already popular models, meanwhile some will be brand-new models. Now, if you are interested in knowing which new Maruti Suzuki SUVs will be making their way in the coming period, then you have come to the right spot. Make sure to read till the end.

The Brezza sub-compact SUV is one of the top-selling SUVs in the country, and soon it will be getting a facelift. It is expected to be launched in the coming months. In terms of design, the Brezza facelift will get a refreshed front fascia with a new grille featuring chrome inserts, revised bumpers, and updated LED headlamp and DRL signatures.
It is also expected to get a set of new alloy wheels, which is one of the most common updates on any facelifted model. Coming to the interior, the new Brezza could get a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, updated dashboard trims, and better upholstery. It is also expected to finally get features like a powered driver seat and ventilated front seats.
Powering the Brezza will be the same 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 102 bhp and 137 Nm, along with the petrol and CNG options. However, there are reports which have suggested that it could get the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine as the Fronx and also a new 6-speed manual gearbox.
Also, the CNG variant is expected to get an underbody tank, which will improve boot space. The Brezza facelift is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current model, with a hike of around Rs 20,000 to Rs 60,000.

Next on the list is the Maruti Suzuki Fronx series hybrid, which is expected to launch around May to June 2026. It will be one of the most important launches from Maruti. That is because it will introduce a completely new hybrid technology in the affordable segment.
The biggest highlight of this crossover SUV will be its series hybrid system. It will use a 1.2-litre Z12E three-cylinder petrol engine, which will act only as a generator to charge the battery. The wheels will be powered by an electric motor, which will draw energy from the battery pack.
Reportedly, the Fronx hybrid is expected to deliver an impressive mileage of around 35 kmpl. If this becomes reality, it will become the most fuel-efficient car in India. In terms of features, it is expected to get updates both on the outside and inside. Expected features include a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS and AWD.

Maruti Suzuki is not stopping at just hybrid technology. This is because it has been reported that the company is planning to launch a Fronx flex-fuel version as well. The flex-fuel version will be capable of running on E85 ethanol-blended petrol. The engine will automatically adjust fuel injection, ignition timing, and combustion depending on the ethanol percentage.
The flex-fuel model is expected to use a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Presently, the exact launch date of this particular model has not been confirmed.

Maruti Suzuki, later this year, will also be launching its Grand Vitara facelift, which is expected to launch in the second half of 2026. This new facelift will help the Grand Vitara in remaining competitive with newer models. The facelift is expected to offer a revised grille design, updated LED lighting signatures, and new alloy wheels.
On the inside, it is expected to get a larger infotainment screen, new dashboard trims, and improved cabin quality. The powertrain options are likely to remain unchanged, with strong hybrid, petrol, and CNG variants continuing. We could also see a slight price bump in the pricing.

Finally, Maruti Suzuki is also working on an all-new micro SUV codenamed Y43, which is expected to launch in 2027. This SUV will rival the Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter in the entry micro-SUV segment. It will be based on the HEARTECT platform and will measure around 3.8 metres in length.
It is expected to feature the same Z12E three-cylinder petrol engine as the Swift and Dzire, and there could also be a CNG option. In terms of features, it is expected to get LED headlights, a digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, reverse camera, wireless charging, and possibly even a sunroof.
