Maruti Suzuki is the largest car manufacturer in the country and, like most brands, it also has plans to expand its line-up by launching updates for existing models and introducing new ones. Here we have a list of Maruti Suzuki cars and SUVs that are expected to be launched in the market soon.

Maruti Suzuki has been testing its popular sub-4-metre SUV, the Brezza, for quite some time. The current version of the Brezza has been in the market for a while now, and the updated version will come with cosmetic changes and mechanical updates.
The exterior of the Brezza is expected to see minor revisions, and on the inside, the SUV would get a larger touchscreen infotainment system borrowed from the premium Victoris, an updated driver display, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, and so on.
The current version uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine and also offers a CNG option. With the facelift, Maruti is expected to introduce a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Fronx. This smaller engine could allow the SUV to qualify for a lower 18 percent GST rate instead of the current 40 percent rate. This engine would come with a 6-speed manual transmission and also get an underbody CNG tank.
Maruti is now working on a major update for the highly successful Fronx. As part of the update, the Fronx will get redesigned front and rear bumpers, new LED headlamps and tail lamps, and a fresh set of alloy wheels.

Maruti is likely to offer features like ventilated seats, a larger touchscreen, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), among others. The Fronx will also get a new series-hybrid system. It will be based on the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder engine that debuted in the new-generation Swift. This hybrid system is different from a strong hybrid because the engine's sole purpose is to act as a generator to charge the battery pack, which powers the electric motor that drives the car.
The Grand Vitara is also set to receive a much-needed facelift as part of its life-cycle update. The SUV is expected to arrive around the festive season and will feature a redesigned front grille, new bumpers, updated LED lighting, and fresh 17-inch alloy wheels.

The SUV will get a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, Level 2 ADAS, and will continue to use the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated mild-hybrid and 1.5-litre strong-hybrid petrol engines.

Toyota is said to be working on a 7-seater version of the Hyryder, and when that happens, a version of the same SUV is expected to come to the market with a Maruti badge. The SUV will come with a revised exterior design to differentiate the two models. The Grand Vitara 7-seater would also be offered with the same engine options as the 5-seater variant.

Maruti Suzuki is working on a micro SUV that will replace the recently discontinued Ignis. It is currently known by the internal codename Y43. It will rival the likes of the Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter in the segment. The Y43 is expected to be offered in both ICE and EV versions. The ICE version will get the 1.2-litre Z12E-series petrol engine with manual and AMT gearbox options.

Suzuki first showcased the eWX electric hatchback concept at the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) last year. A few months after its showcase, the manufacturer filed a patent for it in India. This suggests that Maruti Suzuki is planning to introduce this small electric hatchback to the Indian market.
The design of the electric hatchback appears to be inspired by the Suzuki Solio. The eWX concept is a small car based on a heavily localized K-EV platform, and according to Suzuki, it will have a driving range of 230 km on a single charge.

Maruti Suzuki showcased the Victoris Compressed Biogas (CBG) version last year. Compressed biogas and CNG share identical chemical compositions - both are compressed methane - but their sources differ fundamentally. CNG comes from fossil fuels, while CBG is produced through the anaerobic digestion of organic waste.

The Maruti WagonR is one of the most popular tall-boy hatchbacks in the country. This affordable hatchback from Maruti is expected to get an update in the coming years. The next-generation WagonR is expected to be launched in the Indian market with an all-new design and brand-new technology. It is expected to be offered with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine featuring series-hybrid technology, which will debut with the Fronx.
Maruti might also offer more features in the new WagonR than the current model, and it may also grow in size.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is a popular MPV in both the cab and private segments. Maruti is said to be working on a facelifted version of the Ertiga before it undergoes a full generation change. The updated version is expected to arrive later this year or early next year.
As part of the update, Maruti will offer a revised front grille, new LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lamps.
It will continue to use the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 103 PS and 137 Nm of torque. It would be offered with manual and automatic transmission options, along with CNG variants.

The YMC EV is expected to be the second electric vehicle from Maruti Suzuki. It is based on the same platform as the e Vitara. The upcoming model is expected to be a seven-seater MPV featuring a premium-looking front end with a closed grille, Suzuki logo, open lower air dam, thick wheel-arch cladding, LED tail lamps, and more.
The MPV will come with features like a panoramic glass roof, a large touchscreen infotainment system, an e Vitara-like driver display, automatic climate control, reclining seats, a wireless charger, Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and more.
It is expected to use the same 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery pack options. While the e Vitara is a front-wheel-drive EV, there is a possibility that Maruti might opt for a rear-wheel-drive setup for this MPV.
