Nissan launched its B-segment MPV, Gravite, a few weeks ago. Production for the same has also started and the MPV has begun reaching dealerships across the country. The reason that caught buyers’ attention with the Gravite is the pricing. It is launched at a starting price of Rs 5.65 lakh, ex-showroom. While we know what the higher variants of the Gravite offer, we often overlook the base variants. Here we have a video where the vlogger shows what the base Visia variant of the Nissan Gravite offers.
The video has been shared by SJ Car Review on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger gives a quick walkaround of the features that the base Visia variant of the Gravite offers. The video starts with the exterior and then moves to the cabin. Starting with the front, the Visia base variant of the Gravite gets projector headlamps with halogen lights in them. The turn indicators and parking lights are all halogen units. The front grille, even on the base variant, is finished in gloss black with the Nissan logo in the centre.
The chrome garnish on the grille and the Gravite badge on the bonnet can also be seen here. Coming down, the bumper design remains the same, with silver accents on the lower part of the bumper. The MPV doesn’t offer front parking sensors or fog lamps on this particular variant. Moving to the side, we see the regular steel rims of the Gravite. The Visia doesn’t even get wheel caps or flex wheels that are seen on the higher trims.

The door handles are gloss black, but the ORVMs are finished in the same matte plastic finish as the claddings. The turn indicators are on the fender and it also misses out on an antenna and roof rails. At the rear, the Gravite comes with halogen tail lamps along with Gravite badging, matte cladding on the lower part of the bumper, a high-mounted stop lamp, reverse parking sensors and silver trim on the bumper.
The vlogger then shows the cabin. The cabin is all dark-themed with hard plastic elements on all touch points. The seats are all fabric. The front two seats get fixed headrests, while the rest of the rows come with adjustable ones.
Coming to the door, the MPV comes with power windows only for the front passengers. The steering is also basic and we see a basic instrument cluster that looks like a digital unit. The Gravite doesn’t offer an infotainment system, speakers, rear AC vents or even USB phone chargers. It offers manual AC, traction control, ABS, ESP, reverse parking sensors and so on.
The rear doors do not get power windows, and it still offers sliding and recline features for the second-row seats. Apart from this, the MPV comes with the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 72 Ps and 96 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a manual transmission only.
Customers who are opting for these features can get an infotainment system and other things as accessories from the dealership or from other shops.
