The Japanese automaker Nissan India, after waiting on the sidelines for a long time, will now be launching a number of new products in the country. These will help the company in increasing its slumping sales. Today, we will provide a detailed list and information on all the new Nissan models which have been lined up for launch in India. Guillaume Cartier, Chief Performance Officer at Nissan Motor Co., recently confirmed the plans of the company by stating, "After the Magnite, we didn't really have a plan, but now we have a well-thought-out one and our ambition is to stay and do well in India."

The first big launch from Nissan for India will be the Tekton mid-size SUV. This particular SUV will be based on the same platform as the 2026 Renault Duster for the Indian market. Previously, the same was done with the Terrano back in the day. The Tekton has already been spotted testing on multiple occasions in India.
In terms of design, it is expected to take a lot of its design inspiration from the Nissan Patrol, which is the flagship SUV in the lineup. It will feature a large grille, Patrol-like machined alloy wheels, LED headlamps, and LED tail lamps. The interior design, on the other hand, is expected to be very similar to the Duster.
It will come loaded with features like a panoramic sunroof, electric and ventilated seats, a large driver-centric touchscreen, and a fully digital instrument cluster. As for powertrains, the Tekton will be offered with the same set of engines as the Duster. These will include a 1.0-litre turbo petrol, a 1.3-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.8-litre strong hybrid engine. Pricing is expected to be in line with the Duster, which means it will likely be positioned in the Rs 12 lakh to Rs 20 lakh range.

After the launch of the standard Tekton, Nissan will also be expanding its SUV lineup with a new 7-seat, 3-row version of the Tekton. This SUV will be basically a bigger version of the Tekton and based on the Renault Boreal. This 7-seater will be slightly longer, taller, and wider. This increase will help in properly accommodating the third row of seats.
Powertrain options will remain the same as the Duster, Tekton, and the Boreal. The ICE version of the Tekton 7-seater is expected to arrive around the festive season of 2026. Meanwhile, the hybrid variant is likely to follow by early 2027. It will compete directly with the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV 7XO, and Hyundai Alcazar. Pricing is expected to be in the Rs 18 lakh to Rs 26 lakh range.

The Nissan Magnite, which is currently in desperate need of a generation update to stay relevant in India, will soon be getting a major update. The next-generation Magnite is expected to be based on Renault's new RGEP platform. We can expect to see a major change on the outside as well as the inside.
Apart from these, one of the biggest changes will be the introduction of a factory-fitted CNG option with an underbody tank. Currently, the CNG option with the Magnite is only available as a dealer-level retrofit. The next-gen Magnite is also expected to get a new and improved turbo petrol engine option along with the existing naturally aspirated petrol.
Transmission choices are expected to include manual, AMT, and CVT gearboxes. These options could also become available with the CNG variant as well. The next-gen Magnite will still be priced under Rs 10 lakh, and it is expected to arrive by around 2028.

Nissan recently launched the Gravite in the Indian market, which is again a rebadged version of the Renault Triber. Now, it has been confirmed by Renault that the Triber will be updated with the new RGEP platform. So, as a result of this, the Gravite is expected to get an update as well.
The updated Gravite will get a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, a new underbody CNG tank paired with the turbo petrol engine, and many other exterior and interior design updates. The updated Triber Turbo is expected around Diwali 2026. However, the Gravite update will most likely be launched next year. Pricing for the updated Gravite is expected to be in the Rs 7 lakh to Rs 11 lakh range.

Renault recently unveiled its Bridger concept, which is its boxy and muscular sub-4 metre SUV. Now, using the same platform, Nissan will also be launching its own version of the Bridger in India. Like the Bridger, it will be offered with turbo petrol, CNG, hybrid, and fully electric powertrains.
The Renault Bridger ICE and CNG versions are expected to launch by late 2026 or by early 2027. Hence, the Nissan version will be launched in mid-2027. It is expected to be priced in the Rs 10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh range and will take on hit models like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Skoda Kylaq, and many others.

Apart from the ICE and hybrid versions of the Nissan Bridger-based SUV, a fully electric version is also expected to be launched by 2029. The exact details on battery pack size, range, and pricing for Nissan's version are not available yet. Pricing will most likely be in the range of Rs 14–18 lakh.

Back in the day, Nissan launched the rebadged version of the Renault Duster, and it was named Terrano. Now, it has been reported that the company is planning to bring back this iconic moniker. Currently, it has only been showcased in China at the Beijing Auto Show 2026. It is an SUV version of the Nissan Frontier Pro and Dongfeng Z9 pick-up trucks.
It will share the same ladder-frame construction and powertrain options. These include an ICE setup as well as a plug-in hybrid powertrain. For India, Nissan is expected to bring the PHEV variant of the Terrano. In terms of positioning, the Terrano PHEV is expected to be priced at around Rs 40 lakh ex-showroom. This will put it in direct competition with the Toyota Fortuner and MG Majestor. If things go as per Nissan's plan, this product could arrive in India in under two years.

To sit on top of all the products offered, Nissan is planning to launch the latest-generation Patrol SUV in India. The newly unveiled Nissan Patrol boasts a much more premium design than its predecessors. It continues to get the same boxy body, but this time it looks more refined and sophisticated.
On the inside as well, it will come loaded with all the premium tech and features expected from a flagship SUV. Powering the Nissan Patrol will be a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 motor capable of making 425 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. It will be brought into India via the CBU route.
