The Czech carmaker Skoda Auto India has updated its flagship SUV, the Kodiaq, in India. Apart from adding new features to this SUV, what's interesting is that Skoda has slashed the pricing of the Kodiaq by Rs 3 lakh. This means that the Kodiaq, instead of Rs 39.99 lakh, now starts at Rs 36.99 lakh. This massive price cut will surely help in boosting the sales of this SUV.

A little while ago, Skoda launched the Kodiaq Lounge variant in India with a price tag of Rs 39.99 lakh, which became the new entry-level variant for the Kodiaq. It was already Rs 8.7 lakh cheaper than the top-of-the-line Selection Laurin & Klement variant. However, now with the 2026 model year update, the company has reduced the price of the Lounge variant to Rs 36.99 lakh. This has made it cheaper by Rs 3 lakh.

Additionally, the mid-spec Sportline variant, which was priced at Rs 46.89 lakh, has now been priced at Rs 44.99 lakh. This is a reduction of Rs 1.9 lakh. Lastly, the top-of-the-line Selection Laurin & Klement variant, which was priced at Rs 48.69 lakh, has now been priced at Rs 46.99 lakh, which makes it Rs 1.7 lakh cheaper than before. Overall, these price cuts are huge and have helped in making the Kodiaq more accessible to interested buyers.
