Tata Motors is preparing to give the Tigor sedan a major facelift. A similar update was recently introduced on the Tiago. Based on recent patent images, we have imagined the upcoming Tigor in the new Tiago’s colours.

The facelifted (internal combustion) Tiago is available in six exterior colours- Varanasi Vibrance, Sobo Surge, Pangong Pulse, Pure Grey, Daytona Grey, and Pristine White. Of these, Varanasi Vibrance, Sobo Surge, and Pangong Pulse are the signature shades. These pastel colours look good on the new Tiago. The new Tiago.EV also has a new shade of Pastel Green, called the Dehradun Dew. We have imagined the Tigor in these signature colours.
The new Tigor will get a similar front fascia as the facelifted Tiago. The headlamps will be made sleek and there will be a closed grille section, likely finished in gloss Black. The air intakes will be positioned lower, on the bumper. The bonnet has also been redesigned on the facelift. It is now flatter and looks more chiselled.

In the first picture, the sedan has been imagined in the Varanasi Vibrance shade. This is essentially a shade of pastel Red. The car looks good in this colour.

In the second image, we see the car finished in a pastel Blue colour- similar to Tata’s Pangong Pulse. This colour goes well with the sedan’s design and appeals to younger buyers.

Now, here is a pastel Green shade, resembling the Dehradun Dew colour option of the Tiago.EV facelift. The Tigor looks modern and appealing in this colour.

We have also imagined the car in a light chocolate shade- a pastel Brown. It resembles the Tiago’s Sobo Surge colour option. Like the hatchback, the Tigor looks classy in this shade. Apart from these, we have also imagined the upcoming Tigor in a shade of White.

The patent images confirm that the new model will have the same silhouette as the outgoing model. It will, however, get new alloy wheels. The coupe-like roofline has been retained.
The rear design will see significant improvements. Like the new Tiago, the facelifted Tigor facelift will have connected LED tail lamps, and a new bumper. From the patent images, it has also been confirmed that the sedan will come with a 360-degree camera, as well.

Details of the interior design remain sparse at the moment. We expect the facelifted Tigor to come with similar changes to its cabin as the updated Tiago. It could see the addition of a dual-tone layered dashboard. The feature list will likely see the addition of a large 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless smartphone charger, and more.
The facelifted sedan will retain features like USB type-C charging ports, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, keyless entry, cruise control, push-button start, connected car features, and more.
There will be no mechanical changes. The outgoing version is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It makes 84 bhp and 113 Nm. The same will be carried forward to the facelift.
The carmaker also sells CNG and EV versions of the sedan. The former uses the same petrol engine, but makes 73 hp and 95 Nm. The facelift will continue to offer a manual and 5-speed AMT automatic transmission. The automatic variants will likely come with paddle shifters as well. A similar update was also seen in the facelifted Tiago.
