Maruti Suzuki is the largest car manufacturer in India by volume. It offers a wide variety of cars across multiple segments. Like most brands, Maruti Suzuki is also working on expanding its lineup by introducing new products and updating its existing range. This year, we saw the launch of its first electric SUV, the eVitara, for both Indian and international markets. Here, we have a list of three Maruti cars that are expected to be launched in the Indian market this year.
The Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been one of the most popular sub-4-metre SUVs in its segment. The current-generation Brezza has been on sale for quite some time, and Maruti is currently working on a facelift version, which has been spotted testing on multiple occasions.

The updated Brezza is expected to come with a revised front grille, headlamps, bumper, and alloy wheels. On the inside, the Brezza facelift is likely to get a larger touchscreen infotainment system along with features like ventilated seats and a 360-degree camera.

The Brezza is expected to continue with the same K15C 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with manual and automatic transmission options. The manual version might get a new 6-speed gearbox, and the CNG version is expected to feature an underbody CNG tank. There are also rumours that Maruti might offer a turbo petrol engine with the Brezza.
Next on the list is one of the most popular hatchbacks in the Indian market - the Maruti WagonR. This “tall-boy” hatchback has been on sale for over two decades, and we have seen multiple generations and facelifts over the years.

The current-generation WagonR was launched in 2022, and since then, it has not received any major updates. It looks like Maruti might introduce a facelift this year. As part of the update, Maruti could bring minor changes to the front grille and bumper, and also offer an underbody CNG tank for added convenience. They may also introduce Type-C USB ports and update the touchscreen with a new UI.
The WagonR will continue to use the same set of 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder and 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine options, along with manual and AMT gearbox options.
The third Maruti on this list is the popular mid-size SUV, the Grand Vitara. As we already know, the mid-size SUV segment is growing aggressively, and competition is getting tougher. To stay competitive, Maruti is likely to introduce a facelift for the Grand Vitara.

It is expected to come with minor exterior changes, and like its rivals, Maruti might offer more features such as Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and an underbody CNG tank.
The SUV will continue to be offered with the same set of engine options. There will be a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated mild-hybrid petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic transmissions. The higher automatic variants will also offer AWD. The other option is a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine, which makes the Grand Vitara one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in its segment.
