
Toyota is one of the most consistent automakers in India and over the last few years it has become very popular in the country. Now to make sure that it continues the growth that it has achieved the company is now gearing up to the launch of a number of new models in India. Today, we will provide you all the details of these upcoming Toyotas along with their launch timelines.

First off let's start with the first electric product from Toyota for India the Urban Cruiser eBella. This SUV will most likely be launched this month and it will be priced in the range of Rs 16 to Rs 21 lakh.
It will be based on the HEARTECT-e skateboard platform, which is the same as Maruti Suzuki’s e Vitara. In terms of performance, it will get two motor options - 142 bhp and 172 bhp. As for the battery packs, buyers will be able to choose from 49 kWh and 61 kWh options. The bigger battery pack variant will offer a claimed range of up to 543 km on a single charge.

The most anticipated upcoming Toyota is the new generation of the Fortuner. This SUV is expected to make its India debut around the festive season of 2026 or by early 2027. This time around it will again be priced in the range of Rs 36 lakh and Rs 55 lakh.
It has been reported that this new model will be based on an updated IMV ladder-frame platform. As for the design changes, they will include a sharper front fascia with new LED headlights, grille and bumper. Meanwhile, on the inside, it will get a more premium cabin with additional features.
Powertrain options will remain the same. This means it will continue to offer the same 2.7-litre petrol and 2.8-litre diesel engines. However , there are reports which have stated that it could get a new hybrid option this time.

In addition to the Fortuner new generation, we will also be getting the new generation of the Toyota Hilux as well. Launch is expected to take place in India by late 2026. And the pricing will be around Rs 35 lakh to Rs 40 lakh.
Like the Fortuner, it will also be based on the updated IMV platform. As for the powertrain, we will continue to get the 2.8-litre diesel engine. However, internationally, Toyota also offers an electric version with a 52.9 kWh battery pack which provides a range of 315 km and produces 196 bhp using a dual-motor setup.

Toyota will also expand its mid-size SUV lineup with the 7-seater version of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. This model is expected to launch in the second half of 2026. We have seen a few test mules being tested. This new model will boast a longer rear overhang and a stretched profile.
In terms of the powertrain, It will retain the 1.5-litre strong hybrid and mild hybrid engines, along with an AWD system. This SUV will directly rival models like the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar along with others.

Toyota is also planning to launch the super hyped rugged SUV, the Land Cruiser FJ in India. This model will be launched by late 2027 or early 2028 and its pricing will be in the range of Rs 35 lakh and Rs 45 lakh.
It will be based on the IMV ladder-frame platform and in terms of design it will feature a retro boxy design. The Land Cruiser FJ will also get elements such as a tailgate-mounted spare wheel and C-shaped LED DRLs. Powertrain options will be similar to the Fortuner.

Toyota will also be updating the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. This facelifted iteration is expected to make its debut in the festive season of 2026. Prices are expected to range between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 20 lakh.
The facelift will get new feature additions such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, Infinity, audio system with Dolby Atmos, 8-way powered driver seat and Level 2 ADAS. Powertrain options will remain unchanged with strong hybrid and mild hybrid setups, including AWD.

The super popular Toyota Innova Hycross will also be getting a facelift in late 2026. It is expected to be priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 32 lakh. As for the updates they will be cosmetic on the outside. Meanwhile, on the inside, it is expected to get a larger touchscreen and digital instrument cluster. It will continue to offer the same 2.0-litre petrol and 2.0-litre strong hybrid powertrains.

Toyota is expected to introduce a series hybrid version of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor. This model is expected to make its debut by the end of 2026 or by early 2027. Its pricing will range between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh.
It will feature the same series hybrid setup which will be seen in the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. The 1.2-litre petrol engine will act as a generator to charge the battery. Meanwhile the electric motor will drive the wheels. It has been reported that it could offer an impressive mileage of 35 kmpl.

Toyota will also launch its own version of a Maruti-based electric MPV (codenamed YMC by Maruti Suzuki) in India by early 2028. This model will be based on the HEARTECT-e platform and will come with 40 kWh and 60 kWh battery options. It will be a three-row electric MPV and will rival models like the Kia Carens EV and BYD eMax 7. Pricing is expected between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 30 lakh.

Based on the IMV 0 modular platform which was showcased a while ago, Toyota will introduce a brand-new SUV in 2028. This SUV is expected to measure around 4.5 metres in length and will be priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh. It is expected to be offered with a 2.4-litre diesel engine along with a new strong hybrid powertrain.

Last on this list is the Toyota Corolla Cross. This will be a new 7-seater SUV that is expected to launch between 2028 and 2029. Internally it is known as the 340D project and will be built on the TNGA-C platform which currently underpins the Innova Hycross. It is expected to get a 2.0-litre strong hybrid engine and will be positioned between the Hyryder and Fortuner. It will be priced in the range of Rs 20 lakh to Rs 35 lakh and will rival the Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV 7XO along with others.
