Demand for CNG cars in India is going up due to the reduced mileage of most new vehicles. Now, if you are also someone who wants to buy yourself a brand-new SUV with a CNG kit, then you have come to the right spot. Here is the list of all the upcoming sub-4m SUVs with CNG kits installed.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza is one of the most popular SUVs in the sub-compact SUV segment and will soon get a facelift. This time around, the main highlight will be its CNG tank placement. Like the newly launched Victoris, the new Brezza facelift will come fitted with an underbody CNG tank. As for the powertrain, it will continue to get the same 1.5-litre petrol engine, which makes 102 bhp and 137 Nm of torque in petrol mode and 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque in CNG mode.

Hyundai will also be launching the facelifted iteration of its popular model, Exter, this year. And like the current model, it will come offered with dual-cylinder Hy-CNG Duo tech, where it will get two 30-litre tanks under the boot floor to maximize usable luggage space. In petrol mode, the 1.2-litre Kappa engine will make 83 PS and 114 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, in CNG mode, it will make 69 PS and 95.2 Nm of torque. As part of the facelift, it could also get revised front and rear bumpers and headlight and taillight revisions.

There are reports which have suggested that Skoda, in order to make the Kylaq even more popular, is planning to launch a CNG kit for it. Skoda could either offer the Kylaq with a factory-fitted CNG kit or a company-approved dealer-fitted CNG kit. The exact details have not been revealed. As for the power figures, the 1.0-litre TSI engine, which makes 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, could see a reduction of around 20–30 percent in CNG mode. It is expected to make its debut later this year.

Just like the CNG-fitted Skoda Kylaq, the upcoming Volkswagen sub-compact SUV, which will be called the Tera, will most likely also get the CNG option. Now, whether the Tera will get the CNG option from launch or not has not been reported. Most likely, the Tera will be launched either later this year or by early 2027.

The country's first CNG SUV with a turbocharger, the Tata Nexon, will also be getting an update. It is believed that the new Nexon iCNG will make its debut early next year. It will most likely retain the same 1.2-litre turbo Revotron engine, which will make 100 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. Also, it will come equipped with the same twin-cylinder CNG technology that uses two 30-litre tanks, which are placed underneath the boot.

Maruti Suzuki is currently working on the development of the Fronx facelift in India, and most likely by the end of this year, it will be launched. This time around, there are reports that the company could be offering the new Fronx facelift with a dual-cylinder or an underbody CNG tank kit. It will continue to use the same 1.2-litre petrol engine, which in CNG mode will make 77 bhp and 98 Nm of torque. Apart from these, it will also get an updated exterior design and some new features as well.

Soon after the launch of the new Fronx facelift, most likely the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor crossover SUV will also get the same CNG kit as the Fronx. It is believed that the launch of the Taisor CNG will take place next year, in 2027.
