The Vietnamese electric carmaker VinFast has officially showcased its third product, the VF MPV 7, in India. It has also revealed all the key specifications of the upcoming EV MPV and has revealed the complete exterior and interior design of this highly anticipated model. Apart from the reveal of the specifications, the company has also commenced the bookings for the VF MPV 7 in India with a booking amount of Rs 21,000.

First off, let's talk about the main highlights of the VinFast VF MPV 7, which is its electric powertrain. This electric MPV will be offered with a 60.13 kWh usable battery pack and will offer a claimed range of 500+ km on a single full charge. Additionally, it will also be able to perform a sprint from 0–100 kmph in under 10 seconds, which for a heavy electric MPV is quite impressive.
Other notable highlights include three driving modes of Eco, Normal, and Sport. Additionally, it will have fast charging capabilities and will reach from 10 to 70 percent in just 30 minutes. The company is yet to announce the exact power figures and the positioning of the electric motor. There will also be multiple levels of regenerative braking.

The VinFast VF MPV 7 will measure 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and 1,734 mm in height. As for its wheelbase, it will be 2,840 mm. These dimensions make the VF MPV 7 the most spacious 3-row electric MPV in the market. It beats the likes of the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMax7.
The long wheelbase will ensure that the second-row and third-row passengers have enough legroom. Additionally, VinFast has also revealed that the VF MPV 7 will be offered with 235/50 R19 tyres and 19-inch alloy wheels. These large alloy wheels add to the strong road presence and sporty appeal of this MPV.

For the first time, VinFast India has revealed the interior design of the VF MPV 7. It can be noted that it will be offered with a 7-seater layout, D-cut steering wheel with cruise control and infotainment control, a large free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, sleek air conditioning vents, dark brown and black leatherette upholstery, a high centre console with two cup holders, and a storage cubby. All windows will also get an auto up and down feature with an anti-pinch function.

As for the safety features, the VinFast VF MPV 7 will come equipped with ABS, EBD, brake assist, ESC, traction control, hill start assist, rollover mitigation, and many others. Additionally, it will also be offered with all four disc brakes, an electronic parking brake, and an auto hold function. Lastly, it will also be offered with dTPMS (Direct Tyre Pressure Monitoring System).

In terms of the design, the VinFast VF MPV 7 boasts the same signature VinFast V-shaped LED DRLs with the V logo in the middle. Also, like the VF7 and VF6, it gets a split headlight setup, with LED headlights positioned on either end of the fascia. The lower portion will get a large air dam as well.

On the side profile, it will get a tall window line, large 19-inch aero-efficient alloy wheels, and thin side claddings. Meanwhile, the rear end will boast similar connecting LED taillights, a high-mounted stop lamp, an integrated roof spoiler, faux vents on either end, and a simple black cladding-equipped rear bumper with multiple reverse parking sensors.
